Grateful you get given very detailed instructions on how to have a shower when you have an elective c-section and get to replace your normal shower gel and shampoo with hibiscrub, its not new I did it before but couldn't remember if the one the day before had to be done before I went into hospital or just sometime the night before so I can do it whilst I'm there.
  • Sorry merfe I shouldn't be flippant. At least it smells quite nice, at least as I remember it. And it stopped my doggle from having to have her tail amputated.

  • Hi Ladies,

Just a quick update for me as I will have parents and in-laws arriving soon for the funeral tomorrow, so need to go hoover, clean bathrooms and tidy ds toys away. And clean my kitchen before my mum gets in there and makes it worse!

I saw the midwife today, my BP a little high so they are seeing me next week as well, as it maybe down to tomorrow or it could be warning signs of pre-eclampsia! (oh I so hope not). Saw the Dr also, prescribed liquid iron just to be on the safe side. Also saw the HV and he (yes he, my previous one has retired) is coming to see us next week.

Anyway I really must get on, so much to orgnanise for tomorrow, I'm going to put some music on, and hoover! (haven't listened to music inthe last 2weeks I daren't in case it made me cry.)

Anyway ladies I also want to say thankyou so much for your support so far, I probably wont post tomorrow and unsure when I will post next, but I am lurking as it helps me focus on the baby at some point in the day, cos part of my brain really isn't interested at the moment, which is a real shame and I feel guilty about it, so coming on here and just reading reminds of the little part of dh I have growing in me.

    Love to all.

Ahhhh...Poor Ruby will not be attending my scan appointment tomorrow as she has chicken pox :( I'm gutted as she has been so excited about seeing the baby on the tv ;) On the plus side she is really not that bothered by the chicken pox at the minute & she is carrying on as normal. We're both having a pj day as we won't be leaving the house. :D

Awwwww no poor Ruby :( I hope she is feeling better soon. Shame she won't be able to go to the scan with you as I know how much you'd said she was looking forward to it.
