But I'm pleased that bubs is healthy.
You're kidding, if I knew I would either

b. be decluttering copious quantities of girl's clothes to all and sundry!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Morning ladies,
huge congrats legswelcome Molly
Sorry to see that the rest of you bold girls are still there!!!!
I haven't jumped any queues yet either, so no worries. Did have a very 'special poo' this morning though and am in a lot of pain, just nothing i can quite put my finger on.
Went to have a blood test this morning as they forgot to retest my iron levels, but that is all i have planned for today, i think i may go back to bed as feeling quite sick and sore.
Oh well only just over a week before i am due!!
Labour vibes to all the bold ladies and hugs to anyone who needs them. I am going to hibernateLeopardlady

Sammy - my scan date is 2 weeks today, by then I'll be 21+5 so I deffo need to see a MW before then. Hope she rings soon.
Hope things get moving soon for you Emsy and Fuzz and the other bold ladies, we need baby pics.
A colleague just brought in her 5 week old daughter, absolutely stunning, I took to baby cuddles like a natural0 -
dusty do you not have a midwife appt for around 20 weeks? I saw consultant and midwife around then but my scan wasn't till 23+6 stupid hospital. I don't think there is any harm in having an appt to see her and hear the heartbeat for reassurance xx
Been to see the midwife this morning, she said I probably didn't really need the appt but at least she knows what is going on now. Hibiscrub doesn't need to be done before I go in, I can do it there this evening. She was quite sure I'd need to stay longer than the 48 hours so I think she was preparing me just incase. She measured me and I was measuring 42 weeks now so still big, I think she is interested to know how big the actual baby is now too and how much is fluid.
Couple of hours then I'm gonna start tea, doing a huge spag bol so I can freeze some portions, almost straight after have to leave for the hospital for steriod injection and possible sliding scale.
Woke up this morning all excited like christmas then just got more nervous throughout the day. Gonna be loads of waiting around though so gonna drag till tomorrow morning.
Labour vibes for all the overdue ladies xxx0 -
All very exciting Merfe, fingers crossed it will all go very smoothly, i was surprised to be told i had a big baby as my MW has consistently said that i was measuring small or spot on, but now i have a baby that is more than big enough to survive out here even in this weather!!Leopardlady

Woo hoo successful sweep
Well, not that it has started labour or anything, but Cervix is favourable, dilated and MW touched the babe's head :T
go go go LOL Bet it won't work now  Next one on Friday0 -
Ahhhh...Poor Ruby will not be attending my scan appointment tomorrow as she has chicken pox
I'm gutted as she has been so excited about seeing the baby on the tv
On the plus side she is really not that bothered by the chicken pox at the minute & she is carrying on as normal. We're both having a pj day as we won't be leaving the house.
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -

So exciting. Fingers crossed for a good labour and little/no intervention. Remember your breathing exercises.Been to see the midwife this morning, she said I probably didn't really need the appt but at least she knows what is going on now. I used hibiscrub on my doggie when she chopped the end of her tail off :eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Emsy that's fab news, when I got my sweep the midwife said that she had just touched the babies head (it was bl00dy painful but I think that's just me!
) and I went into labour within a couple of hours, granted I had been getting LOTS of gel to try and move things along but it was the sweep that worked for me so good luck and lets hope you get to meet you wee boy very soon
Fuzz thinking of you and mummy fuzz hope all goes well x
