Twoflower...i'm just going to delurk to wish you all the best for tomorrow, you're in my thoughts and prayers.
You have to hang on to the fact that the little person inside you is a part of your oh, and although you have so much other stuff to cope with and think about now, the time will come when you are ready to focus on baby again-don't feel guilty about it.
Please come on regularly and rant/chat/moan whatever you need to, we are all here for you...i don't know where i'd be without this place. :)

    ((hugs))xxx

Hiya It is most certainly possible, congrats xxxx

My first 2 are 15 months apart both c-sections with non straight forward pregnancies and I was mad enough to do it a third time. Good luck with the pregnancy hope its complication free for you this time.

thanks, Merfe, reassuring words just when I needed it! Just noticed you are booked in for c-section tomorrow! Good luck!

Also noticed the less than 12 weeks pg club - oops, maybe should have posted there, last time it was the pg club only! Just skimming back and remembering all the appointments and stress from last time, argh!

@bellabear is this true? I never knew you can't give buyers negs. I haven't left any feedback for her yet. OMG I just looked there is indeed only the option to leave positive! That's crazy. Not even a neutral?! I don't leave feedback until I've had feedback and know the buyer got their item anyway. She won't get any from me.

Anyway, she's caved...after I escalated it to Paypal, they told her she had to send it back at her own cost. And it looks like she is going to. So just waiting now.

In other news, I bought a hypnobirthing book from Playtrade using my play.com vouchers I get from my credit card :money:

Can't wait to start reading it. I got the mongan one, anyone else got it?

Lilian - how'd the 28 week appt go? Got mine tomorrow. Got my list of questions :)

    Great news about Ebay :)

Appointment went well thanks - BP normal, fundal height 28cm which is bang on, heard the heartbeat, no protein in my wee this time which is great. Even the blood tests were fine although obviously I don't know the results yet.

Shattered now so snoozing on the sofa while watching Dreamgirls.

Twoflower - my thoughts are with you and your family for tomorrow.

Dusty - persevere, keep ringing :)

    xx

Will be thinking about you tomorrow Twoflower xx

((Hugs)) dusty, gurr at midwife for being no help. I know the feeling of no symptoms and worrying about it very well, even now I feel bubs I still worry, whether I am imagining the feelings and whether things are okay. Don't envy you waiting another 2 weeks for your scan either, mine is at 20 weeks and feel like I've been waiting ages.
A friend of mine told me that if you feel anything in the right area it probably is bubs moving, maybe you are feeling it but just not noticing / believing it?
I am thinking for avoiding the worry you might be better off getting a doppler..

PrincessCoupon - could you predict for me as well please (again if you're getting fed up feel free to ignore). I am just so curious!!

    1) trying for about 8 months, was just starting to be worried why it was taking so long
    2) Really excited (also petrified but far more excited than scared!)
    3) I would really like a girl (OH wants a boy so I'd partly like a boy for his sake but my pref is girl).
    4) No children so far

I think I'm more excited to find ouit what MOTM is having than to find out the sex of my own :)
  • Hi guys. Anyone know much about placentas? Something the sonographer said yesterday is bothering me. She said it is lying on the back wall and that they would take a look in greater detail at my 20 week scan. Is it supposed to be there? Should I worry? I dunno, seems like such a small thing tbh but it's just stuck with me since yesterday.

Glad you getting somewhere with ebay.

I used the Marie Mongon book with my ds. i found it so relaxing. Does it come with the cd?
I still have the cd on itunes and tried to send it to Pawpurrs a few weeks ago but I couldnt get it to go.

I got free hyprnobirthing classes through the NHS. I enjoyed all the classes and it made me more chilled out and more connected to the baby and my body. I didnt have time to prepare myself for the actual birth as it was over start to finish in an hour
but it was maybe all that relaxation that got him out faster.
Oops no, it didn't mention a CD. Didn't know there was one. Do I need it to go with the book?

princess coupon i didnt want to ask you incase you were fed up doing these, but im nearly 16 weeks and still no scan date through so id love to hear what you think what I might be having. Just tell me to bog off if you cant be bothered lol.

    1) It was an accident
    2) Im very excited (after the shock of the first 2 months) this will be my last so im looking forward to enjoying every minute of PG and the first year.
    3) Id love another girl.
4)I have a girl and a boy already.

    thanks:D

I don't mind at all. Well that's a tough one, your answers are very neutral, I'm going to say girl based on your tough move but I'm not as confident as I could be.

A girl, partly based on the fact I get a vibe off your posts that you yourself are fairly girly so would suit having a little girl.

Nothing at all to worry about, it's called a posterior placenta. It's irrelevant as long as it's not covering the cervix which is what they'll check for at your 20 week scan, in which case you'll need further scans to check it's moved. It does mean you might feel the kicks more as there's no placenta in between baby and your stomach to cushion them!

    Have a look here; http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-second-trimester/154559-posterior-placenta-good-bad.html

Hope that helps - I wish midwifes wouldn't just tell us stuff in jargonese, do they not realise we then go home and worry?! ;)
