Emsy if your lurking are you ok hun? Was reading another thread earlier that t*t was bang out of order, I used to visit the arms quite a lot and I used to enjoy the banter but got fed up of all the ott b!tching, very uncomfortable to read at times. xx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Twoflower, you'll be in my thought tomorrow x
Is it pox season already?! I'm kind of hoping DS will have it before little babs arrives. Thought of a brand new baby getting it scares me.

Hello Ladies, Ive noticed some of you mentioning about 16 week appointments with the MW. My MW didnt mention a 16 week appointment so I wonder if it is differenr in different areas?
Worried now incase I'm missing something I should be having.
Also I felt little flutterings last Friday and nothing since. I'm 17 weeks. So worried about that too.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
This is a very confusing article about Vitamin A given all we've been told about not taking it!
http://www.babycenter.com/204_benefits-of-prenatal-vitamin-a-last-a-decade_10331690.bc
Am assuming the fact that the mothers were malnourished is the important thing here and that we all have enough vitamin A and too much is what's dangerous?

As far as I remember, its a definite set appointment, the 25 week one is first pregnancy only but this one is for blood levels etc - so I would definitely ask about it.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Brilliant photo Catwoman.
Ice - on other websites it seems it is different depending on where you live so some people don't get them. I was given a list with all the appointments i need to book so I am sure they would have mentioned it if you were meant to have one.0 -
Cat, that's a classic photo!! lol...
Ice, did you have a nuchal scan? Our 16w appointment is primarily for the quadruple test... It might be that is missed out for you if you had the nuchal and associated bloods?
Lilian, this is my 3rd and I had a 25w appointment today?
It really does vary from place to place...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

No I didnt have a nuchal scan. I do have an appointment next week for bloods for down's screening but thats not with the midwife, just the woman who takes the bloods? So I wont be having anything else checked. I think I might ring them tomorrow and check in case I have missed something.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

I have a list of appointments, after 12 week, I had one at 16 weeks only for bloods - nothing else was done, we don't get our notes until 20 weeks when our next appointment is. Then 24 weeks is the next one.0
