Also I know you mentioned previously that you didn't mind being induced (think it was you ). When the pessaries are inserted and you have to wait 6hrs, are you in any pain?? The midwife mentioned I'll most probably need 3 and I'm thinking 18hrs of boredom so I'll take my laptop in and watch some movies, and the blokes I work with laughed at me as they seem to think I'll be in lots of pain :eek:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Dusty my grumble buddy...I went through the same at 18 +4 and just went across to our maternity unit at the hospital I am being delivered at....the one thing they have said repeatedly is that if I have any doubts or I am really worried I can call in.....luckily I am now getting kicked black and blue from the inside out lol so I have no doubt that I am PG.....

i had one pessary and after bout 3 hours i started getting mild period like pains and cramps. they did get stronger gradually over the next few hours. I had the pessary at 11am. K was born 25 hrs later as my labour slowed down and then needed an emc.
It works different with everyone. they will only give you a max of 3 and it is spread out. So bringing a DVD might not be a bad idea although by time i was having proper contractions i woul dhave flung the dvd player lol
My friend had 3 pessary over 48 hrs and never really got going at all. she was on a drip to help her.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Both of my nieces have had it over the last month so it was only a matter of time. I'm just glad that we are getting it out of the way. The spots are getting worse by the hour. Her back is covered & they look particularly angry there. She is being a super star through it all though. I feel really bad about having to leave her tomorrow as she really is a mummies girl when she is poorly. Bless her!
How are you? I saw that you said the baby is getting really active now! Yay!
I have been feeling a bit icky over the past couple of days, just a little off colour not sure why but not got much of an appetite and feeling a little fed up - especially with work
I dread anyone I know having chicken pox as I haven't had it and I really don't it as it's worse as an adult. Hopefully the remedies you've been recommended will help Ruby feel better quite quickly.
Baby C is getting really active now which I love, I just want OH to be able to feel them as I think he is feeling a little fed up that I'm getting to feel everything and he can't - it must be really hard for them until they start to feel stuff.
So many bold ladiesI hope that it starts for you all soon - some of you must be getting rather fed up now!
Am a little worried as have an appointment at obstetrics tomorrow. The letter didn't tell me why but the mw seemed to think it was because I was 1 point over the recommended BMI levelam hoping I don't get a lecture about my weight as am really not in the mood for that I must admit - am already worried enough about it without getting a talking too
I've only put on 3kgs in 21w 4d which comes in the recommended gain for my pre-pregnancy weight so I'm hoping they will be able to see I'm not going mad and eating everything in sight!

No of course not....i am just lazy, lol....and FB with all the renewed attention for bubba from old friends and family kind of kept me pretty occupied which became habit (whereas this thread used to be my habit).
