Congrats Ladylegs (can't remember if I have already said it - doh!)
I'm 14+4 today and tried my AngelSounds doppler, and heard baby's heartbeat todayWas very reassuring, especially as it's my birthday today
Which one did you get? Evansangel got one from eBay too but not Angelsounds. Might have to treat myself on payday....which have just realised is a week on Tuesday0 -
Hello,
Not posted in this thread but have in the 12 week one.
Well, we've been this week for the 16 week check up, midwife was terrible and didn't have any blood results so sent us away. Wife called next day and they were on the PC.
We had been to M&P last weekend, and saw a lovely nursery set. Earlier tonight we won the whole lot on ebay, oops. I said we'd not buy anything until after the next scan.
With the 20 week scan coming up, I'm worried sick as I'm becoming attached to the bump

I had my pre-op, and we are nil by mouth from 10pm, and I have to be on the ward BEFORE 6am!!! Yikes!
I did wonder when she said nil by mouth from midnight but I have to take the ranitadine at 10pm, surely it doesn't make sense to eat afterwards, I'll double check with my midwife seeing her tuesday morning. I stupidly with DD didn't eat anything after dinner, not being one to snack in the evenings so the next day at hospital they were not happy and made me have some toast then wait half the day for the op, not make that mistake again. As I'm in the night before from 5pm do you think they will get me some toast or something or should I just take a snack with me. Also re the lovely hibiscrub shower you have the night before the op, do I do this at the hospital the night before the op or in the afternoon at home before I go to the hospital? I'll check with the midwife, can't remember what I did with DS and I was in the night before with him too.
Pukkamum could be on her way in if she has to be in at 6am too, hope it goes well today xxx
Well OH took his motorbike to the petrol station this morning and it was temporarily not working so went down the road, bike didn't quite make it but he pushed it into the closed petrol station, opps. He just pushed it all the way home then asked to take the car, half asleep just said yes take it, but I need to get to the hospital today to get my bloods done, should have made him use the car to get petrol from a further away station grrrr. Gonna see if my mum will drive over to take me to the hospital otherwise it'll have to be a taxi, not at all MSE but the bus only goes to town and then its a massive hill up to the hospital. In a non pregnant state I'd walk all the way there but it would take me all day to get there now. Not a good start. Glad I can get my bloods done at the local hospital, goodness knows how I would get to the main one, bus train bus I suppose.
Keith it is normal to get excited, I would try not to worry I bought the cotbed for my DS the day after I got a BFP. This time I waited alot longer before getting anything but I didn't have much to get.0 -

Morning Ladies.
Hope all goes well today Pukkamum.
Merfe hope you get to hospital ok.
Trying to do another 'normal' day today, ds has tumble teds on a monday, so off there, and I have been looking at a snow suit in mothercare, trying to justify the cost, but I'm going to buy it.
Slept ok, but it was a bit restless, as I'm sure you can imagine my brain just goes into thinking overdrive, thinking about things I don't need think about, and my brain keeps re-living the morning of the accident.
Anyway hope all have a good monday.

I can justify it for you twoflower, baby is gonna need a snowsuit nuff said. xxx0

Im now nearly 27 weeks and it has been going on all the way throughout my pregnancy and I dont see it getting better.Ice i have had that too I already had cream in so I used a wee touch of that and it seems to have cleared it up. TMI but I am still getting loads of CM is this usual, can't remember it being so 'abundant' before!:o
Hi thrushy ladies! I was prescribed canestan pessary and cream as well but I haven't had to use it yet - I wondered whether the CM might be making a difference and started changing my panty liners more often and that seems to have nipped it in the bud thankfully. I also use a Tesco own brand 47p face wipe to clean up in the evenings (I tear off a strip before cleaning my face!) as they're paraben free so thought they'd be quite gentle.
With the 20 week scan coming up, I'm worried sick as I'm becoming attached to the bump

Completely normal Keith - don't worry about buying the Ebay stuff, it won't have made a jot of difference. I assume your OH's 12 week scan was all fine? If so the odds of something going wrong now are tiny - and when everything is ok you'll be glad you got a bargain and the big purchase is out of the way, as you'll then only have 20 or so weeks left to get everything!
Good luck to Merfe and Pukka with your sections - looking forward to seeing pictures!
I've got a terrible cough and cold today so am staying off work - it's gale force winds and rain outside so don't want to go out. I have a man from Link Romania coming this morning to collect all the charity shoeboxes that I've collected from schools in the area. Also have Next coming with my Christmas garland and my tree topper - got a £10 off £15 spend voucher from my local store but they only deliver to residential addresses so couldn't get it delivered to my office.
Oh, a suggestion for non-smoking OH's - I bought mine three chocolate cigars in Next for £4, I thought they'd be a fun "new father" gift!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Hi all. Scanners today, but no internet at home and been in an hotel all weekend where they charged you £15 for broadband!!!!!
Will be back in the morning if not before, so don't panic anyone if I am not back with an update before tomorrow morning!
Hope all is well. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Not that I'm worried because I do have a bump but I'm 14 weeks today, was/am overweight...a curvy 14/small 16 but I've actually lost weight still. Haven't had MS at all with this PG (my first) but haven't watched that much about what I eat. I eat less and more often and weirdly can't be bothered about chocolate so I'm figuring that has something to do with it...but my main staple is bread which is the worst for slimming oooo, and butter toaster nom nom nom.
I'm guessing I won't be worrying about this soon and they say not to put too much on and don't "eat for two". I never figured I'd be one of them - I thought I'd look like a whale already.0 -
yep just be pleased fanta, baby will get all its goodness first or take it from your stores, I piled it on in the beginning but it slowed down alot. The complete opposite to what the books say you should do but everyone is different.
Good luck with the scan grateful xx
Sammy not long till yours x0
