Its so quiet on here on Sundays, I guess you ladies have much more exciting things to do.;)

My OH is away back to Aberdeen. normally i feel depressed Sundays but because the move is only 3 weeks away i can live with this for a little while longer.

He had to take his car into the garage today as it wasnt starting (only had it 2 weeks) so he has taken my car, so I am without. The thing is the garage is local and they were p**cks when he took it in, wouldnt even say if if would be 1 week or 2 before its ready, so now muggings here has to deal with them if they do say its ready, They werent clear if the 30 day warranty will cover it :(.

I plan to take a water balloon in my pocket and if they try and say its not covered, ill pop it and looked shock and say 'oh my god my waters have broken' then make them feel bad.

i stay in a remote village with a slow bus service, so I feel trapped. I cant go anywhere cos I couldnt be back intime for school/nursery runs.

There is no way to tell if labour is imminent really... I've been through it twice and I still couldn't tell you whether they went quiet or not before it started... I didn't lose my plug the first time, and only lost it during labour the second... No "special poo" It really is just a waiting game, and all those bloody annoying cliches are right...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Goodluck Pukkamum. Are you not booked in at 8:30am? Hopefully there are no emergencies and you will have your mummy cuddles early.

  • Well I have had a proactive day -NOT! So bored being in the house myself, just got myself all worked about about the lack of friends I have and how much I miss my DH. I know that him being away is for the best and to provide a better life for our baby, but I am just so lonley on my own.
Sorry to be on a downer, just know that I have another 3 months of this and its only day 2!!!!

Good luck to Pukka and labour vibes to everyone that needs them

Pukkamum good luck for tomorrow xx I feel the same, nervous and excited but really just want it all over with now, fidgeting and can not concentrate on anything.

Plymouth its nil by mouth from midnight so hopefully I'll be asleep for most of that. I've been told I'm first on the list being diabetic so it just depends on emergencies. I'll be up really early though because need 2nd steriod injection about 6am. I hope there are no emergencies for you pukkamum so you aren't kept waiting xx
