Giz - my hubby has had to go away for 3 months hence why im so lonely.Im still working so got company there just at the weekends i think i am all alone. Im not really into meeting new people I just get so shy that people think that I am rude. Think once I can get xmas out of the way I'' know that the end is in sight and I can start getting ready for the baby coming. Im off on holiday soon so wanting to paint the nursery.

Not sure who mentioned thrush, but I had 2 bouts of that whilst pregnant and the doc supplied pessary and cream. Used both and seemed to do the trick. Bloody horrid though - you have my full sympathy.

I was in for 3 days with my first, it wasn't DD who kept me awake but the other mums snoring, the roasting hot ward, the midwives waking you for meds and toast. I was in once for 3 weeks (not baby related) and got woken up to be given a sleeping pill :mad::rotfl:

I had my pre-op, and we are nil by mouth from 10pm, and I have to be on the ward BEFORE 6am!!! Yikes!

I'm 14+4 today and tried my AngelSounds doppler, and heard baby's heartbeat today Was very reassuring, especially as it's my birthday today

As a favour to my boss I was going to let her know how long I'd be off on mat leave as she needs to hire a temp to replace me, looked on benefits advisor on direct gov and I will be earning more being on mat leave than if I was working so think I'll be off for 9months, Thank you.:T:T:T
