Hi Sharkey - my friends has the 3d silver cross and says it is brill, it's the two handles that put me off (I want a bar) otherwise I'd be getting that one0

Hi Dusty - this was the first pram that I ever seen and I fell in love with it and I havent really seen anything else that I like as much.
, been keeping an eye out on it on mothercare website and its been going down in price slowly but surely.[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0 -
Dusty I got that for my DD (in pistachio and grey) and loved the pram but I found that when it converted into the pushchair I didn't like it at all. I found that it tended to tip slightly when going up kerbs and the weight distribution felt really uneven.
I would say, to echo Princess that it is quite bulky and the pram body can be a complete pain in the @rse to come off.
I will use the pram for the first few months, it is a fab looking pram and really cosy for bubs, but we are going to get a decent pushchair when the baby is old enough for it."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

Hi all
Can I possibly point you to my thread for some advice? Thanks

I'm still lurking (!) and can offer some buggy advice as I totted it up the other day and I've got through 6 or 7 pushchairs now :rotfl:
Buggies with two handles: Don't expect to answer your phone and keep walking, If you push them with one hand they go round in circles!
Maclaren stroller types Techno etc: I had the twin techno and the twins seemed very exposed and the ride wasn't very smooth for them. Every bump went right through the buggy.
Another lurker:o:rotfl:I'm waiting for baby news;)
And sorry Delain:p:p:p but I disagree... I have Maclaren Techno XT and I LOVE IT!! I can push it one handed very easily, Daisy is very snug in it and I live in a very hilly bumpy part of the world and it's brilliant to handle:)
I had a pram that turned into pushchair type one for DS... ok as pram but hated it in pushchair mode. XT is suitable for newborn although if your one of those "must see baby at all times" type mummy it isn't parent facing. Daisy is fine with that cos she gets fed up with looking at my ugly face all the time!;)

emsy I have sent you a pm, some of the people interested in child contact and support are rude, agressive and downright unpleasant.
I hope you get none of those on your thread, but I am too hormonal to risk a flaming today!!!
Just off for scan. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Gulp
We have just booked Kings of Leon tickets for next June
V exciting but v apprehensive about leaving babs (with parents for a few hours, might get them to come to London with us so we aren't too far away).
Other option is cross my legs for a couple of months after due date... reckon that'd work :rotfl: :rotfl:I think I prefer this option!!0 -
Hi ladies. Can I officially join you now please? Just had my scan and have been given 2 dates. Is this common? The one they highlighted was 14+6 making my EDD 05 May 2010 (which happens to be DS's b'day!  ). Although i'll be booked in for a C Section so may be earlier than that.
Nice to finally graduate!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110
