Welcome Charlie nice to see you graduating – any chance of seeing your scan picture?

Sammy Glad you gave them a ring – keep an eye on it and if it isn’t any better then either give another call or take yourself in. Personally I would take tomorrow off work – remember sickness during pregnancy does not count towards any sick levels and you may need a day with your feet up. I hope it eases up – relax this evening when you get home hunni *hugs*

At least I'm not the only bad mother twinny, should have known you'd be the one reassuring me ;). I am planning on taking babs to her / his first festival at the end of march, and there will def be some girly nights with oh left in charge :).

Well I'm living by the rule that i will need some 'me' time when bubs arrives :). Maybe I'm taking it a bit too far though. It's weird arranging babysitters now :rotfl:.

Sammy - glad you are more reassured, I would take tomorrow off, just cos you work 2 days does not mean that you aren't allowed to be poorly on them two days.

I'm going to have a look at my midwife clinics when I get home, need to try and see one this week, I need to know everything is ok in there as my paranoia is now notched up to level 10 :(
  • I was going to ask you if you have had any cramps Sammy. Stretchy pains are totally normal.

As lilian said it could be something to do with your placenta shifting some old blood away. Try not to worry hon, I know it's hard, but youve done the right thing by calling the MW, and she didn't seem to concerned so that's a good thing.

We have just booked Kings of Leon tickets for next June
V exciting but v apprehensive about leaving babs (with parents for a few hours, might get them to come to London with us so we aren't too far away).
Hubby booked a hotel and a West End show for my 30th last year... DD2 was 4 1/2 months old at the time... He booked the hotel room next door for his Dad and step mum and we took the children with us... The baby cried pretty much the whole time we were out :o lol

Sammy, I'm sure everything is fine... I had some old blood spotting this time around at about 14/15w and I properly bled for about 3 weeks last time around... This pregnancy lark is not easy!!

Been and fetched the boots bag today, I do prefer the new style to the old one... Will probably use it to take the baby things into the hospital, wouldn't want to take my Il Tutto in there ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Charlie's picture is over on the 12 week thread :)

Sammy - I agree with this as well - I'm taking days off for any random pains now! xx

Thank you - you're all very kind. I am feeling very hormonal right now and could do with a good cry tbh - but best wait until I get home - or in the car at least!

I know I should take tomorrow off, but I know that I would feel obliged to come in on Thursday or something - I'm stupid like that. I'd rather do my 2 days, have my scan on Wed and then relax. I will def put my feet up when I get home - have a nice bath and an early night - see if I can get DH to do early morning dog walking duties tomorrow and will decide on work then.

    Only 20 min left :)

ETA: Good luck SLM - how exciting. The list is moving fast lately. I hope Pukkamum is enjoying mummy cuddles and I also hope Fuzz and Mummy Fuzz are ok.
  • :( Hya
Had my first scary twinges at 3am today, woke up thinking "ow, this feels different to my normal braxton hicks...is this it?" cue adrenalin rush ....until they went away at 530am just as hubby was getting up to go to work and I couldn't go back to sleep till 7am. Had to have 2 lots of naps today to feel a bit more human.

    Good luck Sim6002!!

(((Hugs))) Dusty. What's making you paranoid? Can we help? x
