Definitely see how you feel in the morning Sammy.
Honestly no job is worth your well being, and they can survive without you for a day.
You should rest up as much as possible hon.
Lots of hugs coming your way xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Sammy - as we all know I am officially Miss Doom and Gloom re: this pregnancy and will not believe everything is going to be ok til I'm holding bubs in my arms.
I still don't 'feel' PG but that is totally down to me still not having any symptoms (except hormonal outbursts).
I've still not felt any flutters (19+3 today), which I know isn't at all uncommon for my first, but bump has all but disappeared since saturday. Plus after DTDing for the first time in 6 weeks last night I've had odd crampy pains.
Pretty sure everything is fine but my 20 week scan is still 2 weeks away and I will be in a right state if I don't get checked out by then.
and I have to say what's happened to Lilly Allen has really affected me too
As I say total paranoia.
You need to rest rest rest, unless the blood is bright red there is no need for concern and as you have no pains the mw was right to reassure you. Would your AF be due around now? That sometimes brings a bit of harmless blood. Bubs will be swimming about for it's mummy quite happily on weds I'm sure.0 -
:jHey everyone -:j
On the subject of prams me and the OH went for a Mutsy Urban Rider. Ive heard good and bad reviews on it due to the split chassis.

We managed to get a brand new one via ebay for a silly price!:money:
I got my daughter the Mutsy Urban Rider with the Traveller Car Seat off Ebay as well...don't even think it had been used...arrived in the original Mutsy Boxes....needless to say, son in law is eternally grateful for saving him heaps of money :j0 -

After checking I would say it's reddish brown. Not bright red, but not mega dark brown. Kinda in the middle
Sammy, it happened 4 times to me and I called the maternity admissions unit and was told to come in. They did a scan there and then and checked to see if the cervix was closed. All was fine. I had brownish blood on 2 occasions and bright red on 2. Not that much though.0 -
Good luck SLM. Your due date is only one day before me, so it makes it all very real for me!!
Any sign of Fuzz today?0 -

Sammy Glad you gave them a ring – keep an eye on it and if it isn’t any better then either give another call or take yourself in. Personally I would take tomorrow off work – remember sickness during pregnancy does not count towards any sick levels and you may need a day with your feet up. I hope it eases up – relax this evening when you get home hunni *hugs*
Thanks hun. I posted the picture on the 12 week thread but it came out really HUGE! I didn't want to post that in here as I know how annoying it can be!
However... I think I might be able to link my FB pic up!

Sammy, I had browny/reddish bood (more spotting) around my period time for first 2/3 months, then had horrendous bright red bleed and lots of it at 24wks. Only went in for the last one as it didn't stop for days but was just unexplained blood loss. I think you did the right thing by calling midwife. I think they always recommend you call with any blood loss, especially if you're having cramp pains too. Luckily I didn't have them, only the stretching/ligament pains that you get occasionally.
Fuzz - hope all went well with your mum x
Still no twinges, let alone baby coming for me
Went to a latch on group today and felt a bit of a div as everyone there had their babys and were breastfeeding! Think i'll wait untilmy comes before doing anythng like that again!!0 -
Dusty - all the stress you are feeling about something going wrong with the baby - maybe you should try and arrange an appointment with your GP or midwife. We all have to wait so long for appointments and scans etc that it does get worrying but you dont want to be constantly stressing as this wont do the baby any good. Even if you can just air your concerns with them it might do you the world of good. xx[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0
