Also try windeeze, they are over the counter, safe in pregnancy and do really work. same formula as Infacol I think (Pigpen told me that), I've used them for years with IBS from time to time, and I know Pigpen swears by them too

She does indeed.. the active ingredient is not absorbed by the body so is perfectly safe for baby!
Just a thought but DH swears by peppermint tea for trapped wind. I can't bare the stuff, but if it works would be willing to try it.

I love peppermint tea.. but it gives me the worst upset tummy!!!

    WAAAAAAAAY TMI. but..

Playing tents with OH les than 3 weeks after Freja's birth does NOT result in me coming unzipped and my giblets falling out.. BONUS!!!.. for those who will worry about such things.. :p

I'm not telling DH that!! ;)

Nene - have you had any signs of anything moving? I am a bit forgetful of what is happening to who!

delain - is in delivery unit, they are going to break waters any minute and hope brings on contractions. She's also got some movement in one toe and is really happy about that :)

Had nice lunch out with DH, stupidly went to M&S and Sains on the way back, albeit not for much, am now in agony! Won't be moving far this aft!

This morning we printed some photos of our neice and nephews for a frame we got for our wedding 2.5 years ago which has been sitting empty...shame!

DH has also filled the hole in the paint in the baby's windowsill...will paint as soon as it's dry and sanded, hopefully I'll get curtain linings tomorrow am after church so we can get started in there!

:( nope. No twinges (apart from the usual head moving down ones), no pains.

Plus I guess it doesn't help that I'm getting more and more grumpy :(

Stupid Q alert - I want to clean inside my oven but I've heard that you
shouldn't use harsh chemicals such as Mr Muscle etc so what is the best thing to use? I could ask and wait DH to do it but I have more chance in plaiting fog than him actually doing it!! Any ideas??

I've used CILIT BAAAAANG on my oven. Just made sure the room was very well ventilated. You should be fine if you open windows and try not to inhale it.

I always use oven pride it doesnt give off the nasty fumes like the spray ones can. However it is very strong so i would suggest leaving doors and windows open and getting a good pair of gloves not the ones they supply which are useless :-) x

yes oven pride works but be careful with it, as xmas says. DH (who did chemistry at uni) took one look at it and refused to let me use it, or use it himself...before I was pg! He usually does the oven to be honest with stardrops and brillo pads!

bit bored this aft, can't really do anything as I know i need to rest! maybe I'll do some reading on birth stuff in my what to expect book. DH is pottering and has the cricket on the radio..I love the sound of it in the background!

can we all send vibes to delain that her contractions start without needing the drip :)
