I used to think that you would only be in pain/discomfort when you got to about 36 weeks and that a lot of pregnant women were just putting it on for sympathy. How wrong was I!!
Was just saying to OH last night that I didn't expect it to be this tiring this early! And finally, whoever was asking about pregnancy yoga, my teacher makes sure she asks each week how we are doing physically and actively says not to push ourselves in particular areas we have any aches or pains, telling individuals how they can adapt the movements accordingly where they need to.
Thanks for that - haven't heard back from my teacher yet so will see what she says but hopefully I'll be able to go.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Mumof1 congrats on your baby boy! Sounds like you had a v stressful labour *hugs*
MLSL: are you me?!? I'm 6 days over cooked nowalso lost my plug yest (been loosing it for about 3 weeks now but yest there was loads) also last night I had terrible trapped wind, never had it so bad. I'm afraid there's nothing I can recommend.
Can't believe I'm still here, walked 3 miles last night with OH and hoped it might start things off, no such luck. Looks like I'll be going for my sweep tomorrowdoubt that'll do anything though.
Michelle: thanks for tips with boxes, I'll try hang onto some of mine! Baby Ayana is looking gorgeous in your FB pics0 -

re the trapped wind - I have this and had it last night too. I use Biochemics which you can get from Holland & Barrett - they do work quite well and quickly too. They are little tablets that melt on your tongue and are safe to use when pregnant. Also they have ones for colic which you can actually give to baby when they arrive and it helps them too. They do help me so maybe worth a try?BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Also try windeeze, they are over the counter, safe in pregnancy and do really work. same formula as Infacol I think (Pigpen told me that), I've used them for years with IBS from time to time, and I know Pigpen swears by them tooMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Just a thought but DH swears by peppermint tea for trapped wind. I can't bare the stuff, but if it works would be willing to try it.0

Congratulations to Polkadot and Mumof...!:j:j:T:T
Lovely to read the birth stories, funny how different those two are in terms of length!
Fuzz - good tip re the refreshers and love hearts especially as they're my favourite sweets!
Michelle - thanks for the boxes tip, OH likes to throw them away so I've a good reason now to keep hold of them:D
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.0
