congrats to Polkadot
Smartie - if you need to go in then go and hope it all goes well
labour vibes to all who are due or overdue
I am having a bit of a crap day - bit tearful and uncomfortable. typical! we actually do get a sofa again finally and I cannot get comfy on it! My right hip is sore every time I sit down and then when I go to bed, my left hip gets sore! I can't stand up long without feeling funny & dizzy/out of breath so even that doesn't help. I can't win at all... and then when I put my feet up to try and relieve any pressure then I get BH contractions. Bump has been squirming lots as usual and I have no idea what side she is on or if she can even make up her mind. It seems sometimes like there are kicks on the right side and then about two seconds later I can feel her body squirming on the right side. Moan over!:o

Her first child took 5hrs 26 mins to come out. Not too bad. Her second one, she had no contractions or anything before her waters broke, then 15 mins later her second child was born on the bathroom floor!! Midwife arrived 35 mins after the birth!
Rach... What is it Hubby's not keen on?
Although, if my hubby told me he wasn't keen on something about my lbour I'd tell him to blow it out of his ar5e... He can choose what he wants when he's pushing small person out of an even smaller opening...
And I don't own a single muslin... Nor do i intend to increase that number...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Lol, it's a small world. How far away from St Helens did you escape to BB?You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -
That'll teach me for having a late night last night, even with a lie in this morning I feel like I downed 5/6 pints last night.
Although I have spent the afternoon looking for a holiday for the family to go on next year. There'll be 10 of us, me, DH (3) and DS and new baby. SIL and her crowd which include her DH, DS (3) and new baby and my parents in Law (who are paying for it instead of having a party for their anniversary). They want lots of luxary and an all inclusive resort now more than 4 hours away. Budget no object within reason. Anyone any ideas on nice places to go?
Still feeling like I've been beaten up by the physio but it is getting easier.
I really want to labour this time, but DH and everyone else is trying to convince me to have a section. SIL even said anyone who wants a natural labour complete with pain when there is pain relief available is stupid and a martyr, which DH agreed with. They just don't seem to get it, its a pyschological thing for me, I don't feel I got to do it "properly" last time as DS ended up with a spinal/epidural and forceps even though I spent several hours in a birthing pool, so would really like to do it naturally this time. I hate being made to feel like this, and forced into a decion that I don't want. Sorry didn't mean that to turn into a rant!0 -

WelshLassie - rant away. Sorry but i am with you, I have a deep mistrust of interventions despite having an induction with dd2. I don't mind G&A but i dislike the other drugs like spinals/epi and pethedine. I personally feel they slow things down and our bodies were designed to birth. Do what you want to, if you need drugs get them but give it a go if thats what you want. Your SIL does not count and once your OH can pee a watermelon then he gets an opinion until then his job is to support YOU and YOUR choices about what is happeneing to YOUR bodyMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
