Hi all, back from the MW and just had a long catch up, didn’t get on here at work today! 2 people in reception asked if I was about to pop and the MW said I’m measuring 37 cm (at 33+6) but not to worry too much as the head isn’t engaged. Bubs is v active, back seems to be on my left but it keeps flipping to right and back! Was a diff midwife as my usual one was on hols, she was nice though and wants me to think about labouring/birth in the water as it will help the hips. DH is really not keen, might have to talk to him about it. My labour at the end of the day!

Update on delain, she had some codeine in the night which helped her sleep, they’re happy with how it’s progressing and aren’t giving her more gel – they are confident they can break the waters later.

MV – had you had sex when you got the pinky CM? sometimes that can cause it apparently.

Hngrymummy – what a nightmare, I’d have a word with her and with your boss. Tell your boss if it doesn’t stop you’ll have to actually go off sick rather than just battle through with working from home! I’m sure the weignt thing is normal with so much sickness, my sister has found the same this time!

Freebie / gena – re the totsbots thing, it also says you can email them a copy of the birth cert, think I will do that.

Smartie – take care hun, and do get seen when you need to…with all your other medical probs it’s not worth taking chances. And NO DISAPPEARING!!!

She had little a little boy at 13.24 today weighing 9.5lbs called Queuen:D:D:D

Taking DS to stay at his friends a bit later than I *MIGHT* go in:o

My MW said they like them laying on the left side as it's easier to get them out. But on the right side is fine as well. Back to back is a very painful birth.

Congrats Polkadot

Dream: babies are apparently supposed to be on your left side, head down with spine on left side and legs curled up on the right side. Weirdly enough when the MW told me this within a week my baby moved to that position, it was strange as I couldn't see that the fat lump could move in my belly as there's no space!

dream - mine has moved from right to left in the last week or so! Polka had a planned section cos of various issues so I'm guessing was about 38 weeks
