Lilian, some of the exersices the physio gave me for me SPD are stretches that ive done in Pilates before - but they are very light stretches that mainly just involve tilting the pelvis and arching and unarching your back. May be worth seeing the doctor first though and overdoing it exercise wise, definatly wont help. I think swimming is meant to be good, but not breast stroke. Ive left it to late to try swimming as i wouldnt be able to get in and out of the pool now. :)

Thanks for that. Not due to start for another 3 weeks so will check withg the doctors first and hope to get a physio appointment before then.

I love going swimming as long as I have the energy! I always do a bit of floating on my back as its the only time I feel really comfortable lying down these days!!:D:D

I've just been to Aquanatal for the first time and really enjoyed it. Think I'll have a lie down now as I'm pretty tired, I've kept myself pretty busy this week but maybe I've been too busy. Wish I had more energy though, there's loads that I want to do!

Re pregnancy yoga it can be quite helpful but may be worth mentioning to the leader about the SPD and they should be able to let you know of any variations that may be better for you.

We're watching true blood as soon as they come up for download at the minute, it's a really good series!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

confuzzled, yes heartburn can make you feel very sick, if you're sick though, it might just bring more acid higher up, but I know how you feel, I had that feeling prior to pregnancy.

I'm on the No More Toiletries thread and thought this morning that actually, I should continue to stash away because then I won't need to buy much next year. So am now all excited at the prospect of lots of bargain lovely toiletries :D Going to start siphoning stuff out for the hospital bag this weekend as well so it's not something I need to think about or buy come the New Year.

Arghh.... latest update, Estate Agent can't get hold of the seller - apparently they have gone to Cornwall for the weekend!! They were away last weekend too, when we were trying to arrange a second viewing, and away for two weeks before that when I was trying to organise the first viewing. Who does that when they're trying to sell a house??? Poor bump must be dizzy with stress vibes. Think I'm just going to take DS to the park and ignore it all for a bit, I'm tired of being glued to the phone.:eek::eek::eek:
