Good luck delain and nene, hope you get some pains soon! And I mean that in the nicest possible way of course!
OH is working all weekend again so won't see him till monday night now. He's taken the laptop with him so I've been left just with my iPod touch to post with!
Hip is really sore today, I almost want the doctor to say I have SPD on Monday so at least I can get some help

Labour vibes to Delain :j
I found this posted on another forum and thought it was quite interesting. http://msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/ It shows how all your insides make room for the baby.
I had my hair coloured today (first time ever). I literally went one shade darker (brown) with some warmth added and some highlights. It's going to take some getting used to (even if it is pretty similar to my original colour) but it's a start to get me used to colouring my greys
Off to car boot sale tomorrow to look for baby bargains.
I think I might have had heartburn last night - never had it before so not really too sure. Might get some lovehearts just in case...
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Hello all
Have cleared out understairs cupboard and now quinny chassis fits in there - had a strop as couldnt get car seat on and off easily or put it down easily but as husband says I do have a rather large obstruction that wont be there when I come to use it.
Been and done a big food shop so now have a full freezer, fridge and cupboards.0 -
Huge labour vibes for Delain!!
Thanks for all your suggestions re oven, I'll have a crack at it tomorrow and hopefully its not too bad in the oven because I did try and keep on top until I found out I was pregnant and I just couldn't face doing anything until recently!
Just been up my mums and she has trimmed my toenails for me as I just can't get my legs up without pain in my hips. Also picked up reuseable nappies from SIL baragin for £10 but they are all size small and I thought they were all mixed sizes but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth!! I think they are great, they are the popper fastening type from a company called Fuzzi Bunz. I'm gonna wait to see how I get on with them before I get the larger sizes.
Lillian - my doctor was great when I went with my hip/back pain and he said it was SPD straight away although I wasn't convinced, however it has gotten worse since I first went. I got a referral to the physio within 3 weeks of going to see doctor. I have my appointment on Thursday. I also have a "group" physio session especially for pregnant ladies week on Tuesday. Good luck on Monday and I hope you get it sorted!!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
Labour vibes for Delain and Kitkat....
I have been sorting more baby clothes, got lots out now which need a spin in the washing machine etc and then put away.
Trouble is I still have three really large boxes all of baby boys clothes and about six pampers sized boxes of boys clothes! I really need to give them away to charity or something lol! But some things I just cannot bear to get rid of tooBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
I've just got back after quite a successful day. Went to the Jojo Maman Bebe outlet today and picked up the first thing for this baby, a gorgeous velour 0-3 month babygro. Don't want to buy too much as we have all the neutral stuff from DS, but I couldn't resist. They also had a stunning wooden rocking cradle which we'd use in the lounge as we still have DS's moses basket, (we didn't have room in our lounge last time for one downstairs as well). it was slightly damaged (slight chip on one of the rockers, just needed the paint touching up) reduced to GBP35 from GBP95, problem being we would have need to spend another GBP19 on a matress and GBP12 on sheets and another GBP19 on a bumper so decided to see if we could borrow one from a friend.
Also went to Costco and bought a Christmas Garland, hips and back are very sore, but DS will be having an early night so I can relax in front on X factor with my cross stitch.

still here and still fat. I think the OH is getting annoyed as I'm so grumpy. If only he could understand.

Labour vibes for delain. Have they popped her waters yet??
I am sore today, my right hip mostly and over right bum cheek. I thought I had trapped sciatic nerve but I think its officially the start of bad SPD although the pain is more around the back. I think we will be in the count down until crutches. It didn't help that OH was hoovering the car and he is incapable of fitting a car seat which drives me loopy so I was clambring about plus the seat themselves are not exactly light.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Hi ladies
Still here, still preggers, no signs at all of not being preggers anytime soon :rotfl::cool:
Had a mw appt yesterday, she did a sweep (less uncomfortable than a smear and much faster for anyone who's worried) but it seems to have had no effect whatsoever. She also said that although I'm 1cm dilated (totally normal at this stage for a non-first baby) my cervix is still quite high. Poor hubby has had the week off work and was hoping this would run straight into his paternity leave but looks like it'll be work for him on Monday :rotfl::p. I honestly think it'll be at least another week before I have Munchkin and even September doesn't seem that unlikely. I'm making sure I do something every day which would be hard work with a baby (sleep, mainly!) and feel remarkably calm about the whole thing.
Hurry up baby vibes for those who want them though!Updating soon...0
