    Please rotate,baby. Pleeassssssssssse.
I think they tend to get into position once you're in labour if they don't before hand :)

And a long labour isn't always a bad labour... Both of mine have been over 12hours, but I wouldn't say they were bad... I coped with G&A and the baby came out eventually... ;)

I also had a colposcopy but it was before I was pregnant with DD2... I'd just mention it to anyone that will listen, just to be on the safe side :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    Hi Jade

You sound very similar to me! I too have about 3 weeks to go and have just gone on maternity leave. I am right there with you on the not being able to sleep and pathetic attempts to clean the house! Might attempt to wash some baby clothes and bedding today - at least I will have achieved something! :)

I've just ordered the cotbed we wanted from Kiddicare, that killed about ooh, 5 mins of time. I'm bored!!
 I used to be such a patient person, what happened?

  • She is just a twinkle in her Daddy's eye at the moment, planning to get her around Feb 20th.
    I like Nutella!

Ladies, you can say no to a sweep you know, especially if the MW has long nails, how desperately unhygienic!

She did wear gloves:rotfl: I don't know how her boss didn't tell her to cut them, a lot of things were uncomfortable with her even just getting the bump measured. I'll have to keep an eye out for her this time around, I'd guess she was in her late 50's 3 years ago so may have retired.

sex, semen contains the same prostaglandin present in the pessaries that they induce you with. please no castor oil, all it will do is give you the runs and horrible stomach pains, and there is no medical evidence it works

I am going to give up posting anything in a minute Dusty, might as well let everyone read your posts as we are clearly the same person!! Pmsl!! I did actually laugh out loud when I read that, not the best idea sneaking reading in the office on my phone!!

I will ask mw and let you all know what she says, can I have some good mw vibes as this will be a different one from last time :)

All this talk of sweeps is making me cross my legs, but it's all a long way away for me now... (lalalala if anyone mentions it's getting closer)

Feel like I'm moving down the thread, I should go start harassing people on the less than 12 weeks to join us (I know you are lurking ;) )

    Xx
  • I tried everything! Both my babies were late, 6 days and 8 days. My midwife told me the only thing proven to get things going is sex. The semen stimulates something which starts the ball rolling. You can try everything else if it only passes the time.

I ate 3 pineapples all in one sitting, whilst bouncing up and down on a birthing ball. Did absolutely nothing! Still amused my hubby for a while!

Right, I'm off to rock and roll on the ball whilst watching a film. See if that will shift the critter.
