I think I have a touch of sciatica I have been having trouble getting comfortable in bed, and wake up feeling achy all down my sides/bum, and then on the way to work this morning I suddenly felt shooting 'hot' pains down my back and right buttock..has anyone else had this?

seems I have gotten away with an easy pregnancy up until now, and at 29 weeks it's all going to go Pete Tong!

I've had this a bot too, it starts in the buttock and goes right down the back of my leg stopping in the arch of my foot. Very annoying but thankfully not to often...yet:o

Well obviously you would have had a colposcopy cos I have had one too :rotfl:.

When I had mine the doc said it wouldn't affect my fertility but may affect my chances of carrying full term :eek:. I had it 7 years ago so I like to think it is stronger since then. Mention it to midwife this afternoon and see what she says, I'd be interested to hear.

Hi there,

I am getting really fed up with the length of time things are taking to progress for me.:(

Basically over the last few days I have had a couple of small 'leaks' which the hospital thinks might be my waters but have just left me to it and told me if they go fully or if i get proper contractions to get in touch.

All this waiting is frustrating to say the least and I was wondering if anyone has any hints or tips which could help speed up this waiting game.

Think conversaton with Princess Coupon got lost in translation (or I have mistranslated, which is always possible ) as my good lady's scan is the 12th and Princess Coupon is 5th. Hopefully it will be fireworks for you and well as PC

I'm not sure if your apprehension is the same as mine as you are carrying and i'm not, although the way i've been feeling the last few days.....:o My apprehension is more to do with boys, boy and girl...or girls :eek: If it is to be 2 more girls, i'll be too embarrased to return

You could try having sex, alot of walking, eating currys or pineapple, a spoonful of castor oil or lots of other things but baby will come when he or she wants

The last few weeks are uncomfortable l do sympathise really

If this is your first l'd (try!) to relax and enjoy some 'me' time watching films or reading, believe me there'll be no time for that when baby comes.
