Twoflowers I'm so sorry about your loss, my hubby is a biker and its a big fear for me, my thoughts are with you and your family xxx
My pregnancy moans seem very insignificant now, oh well consultant later hopefully find out when I'll be having little one. Hope fuzz is ok and either having some mummy cuddles early or some rest.0 -
Yeah Sammy I've been wondering about her too, I wonder if she is having Mummy cuddles?!
Did she say something about her BIL coming round and he would predict that she would go into labour after they had been or something totally off the wall like that? ( or am I just talking a load of carp LOL!)"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I just want to say that you have been in my thought twoflower since I read your devastating news and will continue to be... you sound like a very strong woman.
Just as you are all thinking about maternity leave - I got a job!!!!! it is temporary in a secondary school in the local area to me, until christmas - so will be 34/35 weeks by the time I am finished, so pleased as I have been on the supply list since we moved to this area about 16 months ago and never had a call before - can't say the cash will not be handy too! Think DH thinks I am mad!
Managed my 2 days away - and since the sick bug I had last week - I have had no MS at all!!!! Feel the best now that I have felt all pregnancy - maybe I will bloom after all!! Best bit was we made it to IKEA - DH's first ever trip - possibly his last too :rotfl: have spent all the time since we came home building furniture!
Hope everyone is well today - and labour vibes to those who need it!DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

I know that Fuzz was still with child yesterday teatime as her OH had a day off and they had lunch/day out. Think they were having quality time before the chaos ensues.:D but since then...? Who knows!!!She could be having mummy cuddles after all.
Saw midwife yesterday. Baby is now star-gazing with chin up!!! Stubborn LO is facing back to back so not best position despite being 2/5ths engaged. Was getting angsty as did some reading on Google/Mumsnet and being 'Occiput-Posterior' can mean a more painful slow drawn out labour. Noooo!!! It's my first real wobble...I knew it would be hard at the end but this scares the brown stuff out of me.
Please rotate,baby. Pleeassssssssssse.0 -
Morning lovelies
Got my 16 week midwife app this afternoon! Really hope she checks baby's heartbeat, just want to know little un is still there (still not feeling pregnant despite the fact that I'm getting fatter - might just be getting fatter lol!!)
Got a birthing ball plus sheets of pregnancy and post natal exercises through from amazon. Have agreed with work that I can try sitting on it in the office so will hopefully help my posture and pelvic muscles. Ladylegs, I think they can also help babs get in the right position so might be worth a try.
Love to twoflower and appropriate vibes to everyone else, come on some of you must be ready to pop nowxx

Thanks for the Fuzz-update Legs. I keep logging on to see if either of you have dropped yet!
Hope your bub plays ball and turns round.
I think I have a touch of sciaticaI have been having trouble getting comfortable in bed, and wake up feeling achy all down my sides/bum, and then on the way to work this morning I suddenly felt shooting 'hot' pains down my back and right buttock..has anyone else had this?
I might see if my yoga teacher can do me a pregnabncy massage.
seems I have gotten away with an easy pregnancy up until now, and at 29 weeks it's all going to go Pete Tong!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Ooh, also has anyone had a colposcopy and do they need to do anything different when you're pregnant? I mentioned it at last mw but she didn't seem concerned, but someone else told me the mw said they'd be early as cervix wouldn't be able to hold baby in!! Didn't get a chance to ask more about it.0

I've had a couple of colposcopys but they were before I was pregnant.
I need another one as I had to have cells removed from my cervix and they like to keep an eye on you every 6 months afterwards, so am booked in for another one next April.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I have had this from about 29 weeks.......am now 38........
Didn't get it with DD, it wakes me up more now than needing a wee, hoping it goes on it's own once I have popped0
