Hugs cat! It is a lot to deal with at the best of times let alone with a sproglet in control of hormones. Hugs to anyone else who would like one
We have resigned ourselves to the fact that Phil and ted is the best way forwards as DD isnt quite up to walking far enough (but also we need to replace our pram as OH is "the pram destroyer") Sooo buying off ebay as cannot afford new.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

((hugs)) Cat xx
I'm not a fan of the phil and teds... We're going for the baby jogger city select, you can change the position of the seats to have them parent facing...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I like that one but is too pricey and doubt it'd fit in our boot.... and I am very car reliantDS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

The seats all remove, if it's anything like the Oyster, they'd fit in the footwell folded up... I plan to go into our local baby shop and have a good play with it...
Although it will be a while before we get a car... I have to pass my driving test first
And we'll be buying via eBay... I'm hoping by Jan/Feb there will be a few 2nd hand on there... It's relatively new at the min so there's not many about...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Happy Birthday twogirls (sorry about your birthday cake...but I did laugh - sorry
)
I've had some good news...was moaning the other day about bills...but we got our boiler serviced today and he investigated the error code we got for nothing...he's tweaked the boiler to see if that stops the error. Bargainous price of £58. I was expecting more like £70 just for the service alone. And we got 3 quotes for our roof...sounds like the first company might have been ripping us off (£295+VAT) as the other 2 said that the work they quoted for doesn't need to be done and that the leak wasn't coming from the underlay holes, but the flashing by the waste pipe. Anyway, 3rd bloke fixed it there and then for £40 :jThis makes me feel much better about spending the money on the loft insulation now.
I'm now trying to get Christmas Presents sorted as I don't want to be 8 months preggers and worrying about it. Uploading photos for photo calendars and making lists on what I can put in my hampers.
Sorry bit of a boring post from me there. What can I talk about baby related?
Hmmm...Baby monitors...are you getting one?
oh thats ok Giz - would have done the same myself!! and he didn't tell me I was an ungrateful cow - well not so far anywayThanks by the way!
Great news about the boiler and the leak! any money saved right now is good!
I am trying to get my christmas shopping done soon to - no way I will manange it much further on! but tbh for most of the family I am going for the 'that will do' train of thought - cause thats what they do!
Baby monitor - no not this time around - but we live in a bungalow so no need really - had one the last time - but we had stairs then!
Hugs to Catwoman - horrible day for you - hope the dog is not too bad!
Happy Birthday Krystal - hope you get the righ cake:T:rotfl::rotfl:DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

Morning Ladies,
Self-pity post: I'm in bed with a stinking cold, that dh has as well, but when he started with it on monday I accused him of man flu! I had no sympathy at all for him, so I dont think he'll be looking after me in the next couple of days! He has got up with ds but he took his pillows so he has probably dumped ds in high chair with breakfast in front of tv, and dh is probably asleep on sofa now!
Any suggestions what I can take to help with a sore throat, I cant remember what I took in last pregnancy, but then my dh went and got it all and brought it to me in bed, cant see that happening, that will teach me to be unsympathetic!
We had the groundworks for a conservatory started yesterday and they will continue today, ds will be a nightmare cos he will want to put his wellies on and get out there to play in mud and help!
Oh well, back to feeling sorry for myself in bed for a little longer, then I will have to get up and get a drink of some kind.0 -
Morning all.
Twoflower: juice of half a lemon, couple of teaspoons of honey, top the mug up with hot water, adjust lemon and honey to taste- works magic on sore throats.
You guys killed the battery on my blackberry yesterday you were so busy posting all day! Internet at home still not fixed.
I woke up HUGE this morning- as in quite noticably bigger than when I went to bed last night. The maternity cardy I have from Next developed a mahoosive hole in it yesterday , and nothing else would go comfortably over the bump, so had to fork out my big winter coat. By which time I was running late, did a speed walk to the tube station and by the time I was sat in the train Bash was objecting violently to being too hot. Which of course leads me to worry that my core temp has raised above the max 1.5degrees recommended and I'm starving him.:eek::eek:.
Must stop panicking!0 -
Hugs, cat hope the doggle is ok.
Also have a dreadful cold. ASH don't worry about temp, I had a raging fever through at least 8 weeks of my last preg (well, a raised temp anyway!) and no probs. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
On a much funnier note- braved some of the websites with lists of Albanian names yesterday. Apparently "Zani Vullkan Alien" would be a perfectly valid name over there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!!!0
