Baby monitor - no not this time around - but we live in a bungalow so no need really - had one the last time - but we had stairs then!
Nope:D and Yay for bargainous quotes and speedy service:T:T
Me neither. My friends think I'm crazy. But I don't live in a bungalow.

Have 20 week scan tomorrow, have had a lot of discharge lately, so much so that Ive wondered if my waters have been coming away really slowly and Ive not realised? I guess they'll check the fluid around baby. I know we have a lot of it when pg but Im sure I never had this much with dd, its a bit disturbing really!
    Good luck :)

I think I'm getting another cold. I'm fed up of being ill. My pelvis is quite sore again too.

Oh and did you see the bit where she was trying to get that random chinese kid to BF too?!

Was she adopting her or something? Either way that's just perverse :eek::eek:

giz monitors was something OH found in the loft and I told him to leave them up there, so we have them if I decide I need them but I doubt I will use them. OH mentioned when he is looking after the baby and is out in the garage, that won't be till baby is nearly a year old and I'm back at work so we'll keep them in the loft till then. They are just basic listening ones. When the others were young he wouldnt go in the garage because the old house it was not attached but here it is and a bit like being out in the garden.

Just reminded me as well there was no bath support so I will have to get one of those.

So I'm not being totally irresponsible by not getting a monitor? I just can't see when we would use one right now. Our house isn't big and we're not ones for staying up late (in bed by 10pm - I'm sure that'll be earlier when baby is born).

Morning ladies, well seeing as me and OH have now made up I stayed in bed for a cuddle with him this morning (p.s the haribos from bubs worked a treat ;)). anyway I promptly fell back asleep and got into work an hour ago - eek. Luckily my boss is awol at the mo so no-one is monitoring.

Interesting stuff on matresses, I never knew it was so technical. Will be looking into it properly once we go for ours.

Good luck at the mw tink

    happy birfday for yesterday 2girls

Those asking bout cold and sore throats. I had one the other week, a couple of drops of pure eucalyptus oil in hot water to steam worked for me, as did sipping on a bottle of glycerin lemon and honey (Boots own)

Erm, thats about it from me. Oh, my mum managed to convince my dad to go halves with her on the pram, (they're divorced but get on like a house on fire now that they aren't together), which means she will have lots spare from her baby fund to buy more goodies - yay. I think we are relying on the grandparents a lot to furnish the nursery etc but we are getting it all off ebay so aren't taking liberties.....much xx

So just back from the hospital seeing my councellor this am and then have the MW coming this afternoon to talk before I see the consultant on the 27th :o

It is such a awkard stage as I just don't know what to do for the best :o My logical brain says to ask for the section as not to run the risk of doing myself permantant damage and end up like my sister and then part of me thinks I should just get on with it and what will be will be :o

But on days like today when my SPD is bad all I want to do is sit here and cry my eyes out for it all to end :o

Oh Tink I don't have SPD but am so sore now I feel like that too, so it must be awful for you. :o

I have my final scan today (am 36+3) so should get some sort of good birth weight estimate. Am also seeing consultant to make some sort of decision about an eviction plan. Bubs is on the big side, so we're looking sooner rather than later, sweeps from 38 weeks. No one tell Fuzz, she'll go bananas :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Will also have a c/s booked for 40 weeks, as I understand they do not want me to go overdue apparently. If they stick to this plan, I have a maximum of 3.5 weeks left
