Krystal - nice to know I am not alone - and I know that we are lucky to be able to stay at home - but sometimes I would loooove to go out the door to work and leave them, and yes we have that argument/discussion in our house I never finish work either!! Strangely enough my DD2 is so much harder work than DD1 too! infact so much so that I alway wanted 3 kids till I had her, and then decided 2 was enough  - SURPRISE
:D
Yeah, I think it was 1 cup from 32-34wks, 2 cups from 34-36 and 3 cups 36-38. Someone will correct me....??!!
I am 37+4 and never remember to have more than one cup even though I like it so I have my one cup but with 2 or 3 teabags in it. Probably not sensible so I wouldn't advise others to do this:p
I don't remember having RLT with DD1 but with DD2 I was not aware of what you should be drinking - so just drunk as much of the stuff as I could get down in one day - and also used it to was down a raspberry leaf tablet too, has to be said DD2 was coming like a train - till she got stuck - but maybe all the RLT made my contractions so strong thats what got her out!!
Cotbed....
Obviously I want the best for baby, but do you have to pay £150? The midwife tells me how she had someone recently who couldn't afford a cot, so were having the baby in a box for a while and that it's perfectly fine. I've heard of relatives sleeping in drawers as a baby...
So I guess my question is, what do these top of the range mattresses offer over a lower quality foam mattress for £30? My budget was going to be £100.
Kiddicare have got a good deal on a mattress just now, I want a cotbed sprung one, figured it should be sprung because I intend to use the cotbed for about 5 years, think its half price to about £70 ish quid - which was my sort of budget.
Can I have another moan about DH too- tis my birthday today, so him and DD's made me a cake - lovely - but then I got left with all the mess to tidy up , when he phoned to see how I was I had a huff and told him next year I want a shop bought cake
:o, he did apologised but I am sure he will think that I am a cow for moaning!!
Also wanted to say to the ladies who are on their first babies - it is really really difficult for the men to understand anything about us when we are pregnant, certainly my DH has been so much more understanding this time around - but it has taken 3 for him to realise! apart from them seeing the scans it is probably only in the back of their minds that there is a baby on the way - where as we NEVER forget about it. :rotfl:DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

I just checked my last scan and the date it says on it and then checked by the diary and I am 20 weeks today so maybe the MV hasn't told me of my change of date but I think it puts me due around 2nd March :S I hadn't even thought about the fact my date may have changed but I suppose it will be confirmed at my big scan...I'm sorry to confusterbafilate all our baby brains :SThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

Don't worry about it, i just thought i'd got my dates wrong
It always a bonus getting put ahead of the expected dates though...although my oh actually said to me "do those 2 days really make that much difference?" Errr yeah, you try carrying a baby for 9 months:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

We've decided to blow our budget on the pushchair. But otherwise I like to be as MSE as possible. As for M&P - in my defence it's the only shop near me that actually stocks stuff to touch and feel. Our mothercare is quite frankly pants (mainly just clothes) and toysrus are miles away.
Wish I could but practicality has taken over..again! Most places I go I drive so would be pointless having an all singing all dancing buggy
so annoying:p:D
I'm the same with ToysRUs it's the only decent baby shop where you can touch/feel stuff thats close enough...M&Ps is about 40min drive away and mothercare...well there's no point bothering they're rubbish!1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Happy birthday
It's mine tomorrow... I'm just as much of a cow... I asked him ages ago if he could get me a Morrisons cream and fruit cake for my birthday (They always look so nice!) and he said yes... And now he's saying he might have chosen something else... I told him I'd just buy him the Morrisons cake for his birthday then... I will have one!! lolA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

As your shadow/stalker the exact same thing happened to me in fact they put me 10 days further on at the dating scan based on size. Supposedly the dating scan is more accurate so from that point onwards that becomes "your date". But if you work that backwards it would mean I conceived on day 4 of my cycle - unlikely me thinks!
We really all shouldn't get too hung up on dates, they come when ready after all.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Thankyou krystal tips, i will post on the parent thread about it, i haven't ventured there yet. I found a cure for my insomia, having a baby is a good cure, now i am so tired on a night that i have no problem getting to sleep. Alex has put a pound on in weigh in a week so now weighs 7lb12, which is good. Was worried as he is sick a lot, we have bought some doctor brown bottles and some infacol as he has problems bringing his wind up and it causes him distress and makes him sick. Health visitor came today and suggested we buy some colief (sp) to try for a week to see if it helps and if it does to get is on script from doctors as its ten pound for a bottle which last a week.
Congrats to the new babies and welcome to the newbies. I still like to come on this thread and see how everyone is. I have baby brain at the moment so can't remember what everyone has said, so not ignoring everyone and i have another 7 pages to catch up on.Married 09/09/090 -
moneysaver, I'd get the script from the Dr now rather than forking out a tenner on it first...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
