Thanks, I did post a piccy on the 12 weeks thread but it was huge not sure how to make it smaller so don't think I'll try it again"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Went back to work today after my holiday. I had a really good chat to my manager and finally have all the bumpf from HR to read. We have also set a date for when I go on maternity leave, add on my holidays and my last day of work is December 24th
which I believe is when I will be 33+6 (but please correct me if im wrong)

Happy Birthday twogirls (sorry about your birthday cake...but I did laugh - sorry
)
I've had some good news...was moaning the other day about bills...but we got our boiler serviced today and he investigated the error code we got for nothing...he's tweaked the boiler to see if that stops the error. Bargainous price of £58. I was expecting more like £70 just for the service alone. And we got 3 quotes for our roof...sounds like the first company might have been ripping us off (£295+VAT) as the other 2 said that the work they quoted for doesn't need to be done and that the leak wasn't coming from the underlay holes, but the flashing by the waste pipe. Anyway, 3rd bloke fixed it there and then for £40 :jThis makes me feel much better about spending the money on the loft insulation now.
I'm now trying to get Christmas Presents sorted as I don't want to be 8 months preggers and worrying about it. Uploading photos for photo calendars and making lists on what I can put in my hampers.
Sorry bit of a boring post from me there. What can I talk about baby related?
Hmmm...Baby monitors...are you getting one?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

Yay, that's great. I'm so annoyed that I have to go in on the 30thI'm still hoping my bosses will say "Don't worry about it...call the 24th your last day". But they won't. They'll even give me work to do and make me stay till 5pm

Nope, you are right. We'll be 34 weeks on Christmas Day which means that there is only 10 weeks to Christmas - eeep!
Better get some online shopping done!!
Midwife appointment tomorrow then physio to see if any progress has been made with SPD, which I doubt as been getting a lot of pain in my right hand side.
Anywhoo, off to finish knitting my baby blanket - will post a pic once its done. Any ideas for more knitting projects that I can do or has anyone got any tried and tested patterns that would be great!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
Sorry, but prepare for a self-pity rant,
I am having a really down day today, and I'm not really sure why. I've been sitting here crying for the last hour. I had to take one of my dogs to the vet today, he's lost lots of weight recently, he had bloods done so have to wait on results. Had a phone call from my hubby a little while ago to say his cousin had died at lunchtime, he had cancer so it wasn't unexpected - but I had dreamt this last night which makes me feel bad. I'm just feeling really rubbish...
sorry, had to let it out, I've been on my own all evening but hubby is on his way home now0 -

I'm being very mse and using our pram from my last baby. It sthe slightly older version of this except mine didn't come with the carrycot, so i've bought one of those, although got it off ebay for less than half the price and its new.
I'm reusing my existing pram too I still love it and it's still like new

I've just got to get DD out of it she can be very posessive. I have terible premonitions of her throwing a newborn out of "her pram":eek: I had to leave Morrison's at the weekend as she spotted a little girl with the exact same patent black shoes as hers (my DD was wearing her boots at the time) and was hysterical screaming "Mam baby stole my shoes!, no baby noooooooooo my shoes!" I was torn between embarassment, finding it funny but also worried at the extreme reaction. Hope she'll learn to share with her brother or sister.AKA: PC
