  • Fuzz - i think your idea is lovely,

He loves his haribos so I think I will get him a little bag after work and put a note on saying well done and thank you for giving up, from the bubs. Does that sound too corny? I think he will appreciate the encourangement and remember why he is doing it in the first place. Will leave then on the pillow in the morning. Look at me, an hour ago I was wanting to send him a b1tchy text now I'm buying him sweets :) swings and roundabouts eh?
Not too corny at all...its exactly what I do:o Sounds like he needs encouragement and at this stage in the pg I think it's hard for men to feel anything, probs even harder when you quitting smoking too! I had right moodswings re:DH around your stage:D

  • ok now that I have caught up on the all gossip that happened whilst my friend was here

    Congrats to Nepthys

Well done Dusty on winning that one

    and

Woot Woot Fairy I just love those little flutter that I have been getting although they now feel as though they are turning into proper kicks and punches (not sure if they should be so at 20 weeks but Al had very very very long legs when we saw him swimming around at the weekend lol)

Did someone say to start with 1 cup a day at 32 weeks then up it to 3 cups by 35 weeks?

Yeah, I think it was 1 cup from 32-34wks, 2 cups from 34-36 and 3 cups 36-38. Someone will correct me....??!!

I am 37+4 and never remember to have more than one cup even though I like it so I have my one cup but with 2 or 3 teabags in it. Probably not sensible so I wouldn't advise others to do this:p

Hello my little cherub cakes how are all you chubby ones today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just bought the last thing I think I will need.........the CAR SEAT!!

I am now driving around with most of Halfords in the car as got DD a new booster seat too. Luckily these were gifties from my parents, so I could just concentrate on getting safest and what I wanted rather than dosh. Not very MSE I know, but I am good most of the time! :D

Then my dad took me to the Harvester for lunch.......I used to manage them in my "life before babies" so bit of a busmans holiday, but was nice to have a good chat with dad, who seems quite concerned about the logistics of another bubs :o My mum does emotional support, dad practical, so we ironed out a few details and I think he felt happier!

will read back and catch up, but go Dusty for winning :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

    God Bless your parents, Emsy.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Midwife appointment today, as my surgery has self check-in the first thing I have to do is collect a pee bottle from the midwife. Who proceeded to ask if I would be ok doing it on my own. Mind boggles as to how anyone would help me with that little task :rotfl:

All fine and measuring exactly target for 27 weeks, but feeling a bit battered, took four attempts to get bloods. Off to fill out my HIP forms now.
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

With my ds I had the raspberry leaf tablets from H&B. As I neared the last few weeks I had the tea. It saves having to drink so much of it.

  • dusty I missed the bit about your OH having given up the evil weed.

My OH was a HORROR when he stopped smoking. There were times when I prayed he would just have a fag as he was horrible when going cold turkey!

That's prob all it is then. I dont think people realise unless they've been hardened smokers themselves, how awful quitting is. I used to like the odd ciggy now and then with a drink, but I've never craved them. Could smoke a whole pack in one night and not touch another for months!

    My bump looks huge today.

Yay Fairy for feeling bubs more.

Um, I'm going to admit to skipping past all previous RLT conversations :o What does it do?

Oh and my missed question a while ago was
    What mattress do I get?
