Baby Isaac arrived safely on his due date of Oct 5th
Congratulations! And Welcome Baby Isaac.I'd maybe wait to have a proper face to face discussion as tone can easily be misconstrued in texts and can inflame a situation, especially with hormones flying around like unwanted vultures.
wise woman and good simile!
dusty giving up smoking is at least as hard as dealing with pg hormones, leave it and move on, now, hon. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hi Ladies,
I have been to see the Midwife this morning and she is now worried that my enormous growth spurt has been fluid and not the baby, so she wants me to have a growth scan. So now waiting for a growth scan, another chance to see bubs before they arrive
The bean is moving around loads so i am not worried, it just seems that although everyone seems to think i am huge, i will not have a huge baby
Doing some handover discussions at work tomorrow, so that should mean that if i carry on feeling as fluey as i have been i could stop work soon! I have 22 work days left if i work until 12th Nov, but i am starting to wish i could only work half days or something, i am not sure i want to stop work, but i would like to work less.Leopardlady
Got married on the 26th April 08!!!!!!!:j:T
Bumpy Bean was due 20th Nov 2010, born 15th Nov :j:j:T0 -
Hello my little cherub cakes how are all you chubby ones today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just bought the last thing I think I will need.........the CAR SEAT!!
I am now driving around with most of Halfords in the car as got DD a new booster seat too. Luckily these were gifties from my parents, so I could just concentrate on getting safest and what I wanted rather than dosh. Not very MSE I know, but I am good most of the time!
Then my dad took me to the Harvester for lunch.......I used to manage them in my "life before babies" so bit of a busmans holiday, but was nice to have a good chat with dad, who seems quite concerned about the logistics of another bubsMy mum does emotional support, dad practical, so we ironed out a few details and I think he felt happier!
will read back and catch up, but go Dusty for winning :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hello ladies...
Wow this thread is a fast mover! I can barely keep up!
Shazza - I'm 22 weeks today and been feeling flutters for 2 or 3 weeks.. The first one I really noticed felt a bit like a twitching muscle..
A few weeks ago I had the most massive argument with OH ever! It started over something small (as usual) and ended up going totally nuclear with every little issue being dragged out (plus plenty of shouting/tears/slamming doors ). I'm the calm one usually, so it was pretty much down to me (and my hormones ha!) that I just exploded!!
But actually, it really cleared the air in the end and later in the day we had a really good talk and sorted a lot of stuff out...
(not that I'm recommending having a good old barney BTW...)0 -
Congrats Nephthys, what perfect timing your little man has too
. I really like the name too
GFH - I am officially moved on now that I am the winner.
Fuzz - i think your idea is lovely,
He loves his haribos so I think I will get him a little bag after work and put a note on saying well done and thank you for giving up, from the bubs. Does that sound too corny? I think he will appreciate the encourangement and remember why he is doing it in the first place. Will leave then on the pillow in the morning. Look at me, an hour ago I was wanting to send him a b1tchy text now I'm buying him sweetsswings and roundabouts eh?

If I could get away with it I'd actually finish work a lot earlier than I am planning but I know that from the money aspect it wouldn't make sense for me to do that.
Maybe its because neither of us really want to be where we are
Make me No 3 in there lol....sitting at home trying to work out leave etc to give me the longest possible time off before I go back to work (next week possibly) and hand them my dates etc hehe I am soooo looking forward to finishing work for my maternity leaveThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

No. It's lovely. Awwww. Love a happy ending
Went to watch BBC news 24 before for the LIVE release of those Chilean miners...but the pod thing was taking too long to come to the surface so I couldn't wait any longer:D.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Ooh I just remembered - I bought raspberry leaf tea yesterday! The woman in Holland and barrett said "is this your first time using it?" and prepared to give me a lecture, but I stopped her short with my knowledge!
Saying that, I'm not sure I actually remember it correctly. Did someone say to start with 1 cup a day at 32 weeks then up it to 3 cups by 35 weeks?
I also got the Winnie the Pooh laundry basket in Poundland finally - I think it was Rach that mentioned them originally. Glad I didn't need a pink one as these are Daisy Duck! Still cute though. My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

I'm another SAHM so no maternity leave for me... Hubby's favourite argument fallback is "I go to work!" I'd like to know when I'm not working... DD2 is harder than DD1 ever was, I'm dreading the next 19 weeks...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
