I'm planning on staying until 39 weeks because everyone keeps telling me that as it's my first, I'll probably go overdue and my employer only pays statutory minimum:eek:. I really want to take as much time after as possible and the sooner I leave, the sooner I have to go back.

3 weeks and 2.5 days until I finish!

fairy I have an appointment with the consultant on the 1st nov when they will give me a date for my c-section and I think its going so fast lol I do remember waiting for that 20 weeks scan though, mine was at 23 weeks as well so I was very jealous of all the ladies getting to see their babies first and it really did drag still, even trying to keep busy just didn't help. Good luck with it.

All I know is OH has never paid to get them off his licence and they are not there anymore, I don't really see how they could just draw a line through them surely you needed a new paper part with your new name on. Maybe it was a lazy !!!!!! at the DVLA that day.

Thinking now that I might finish on the 14th Jan instead of the 7th - that way I'll be off until end Feb 2012 rather than Feb 22nd. I suppose I can always finish earlier on doctors advise if needs be. I may still need a planned section anyway so I guess I can confirm nearer the time - I think legally I only have to give 28 days notice of a change to my plans?

  • I found both this and last pregnancy dragged! At least I have finally hit the half way mark! yay! I want to fast forward to 21st for my scan and the 25th when I get to try and twist the consultants arm into letting me have an early induction.....hmmmm will see how that pans out.

thanks ladies, i will wait and see what they send me for this latest offence before i worry about getting the others taken off.

so I have typed this message out to send to OH but not had the guts to send it yet:

"Do you even know why you are in a mood with me? Don't you think you are being slightly childish? I thought I was the one supposed to be the hormonal one? Whatever your issue is sort it out, I don't need this stress!"

What do you think? should I even bother sending it (I see that as me making the first move, although I'm not in a sulk with him)

Dusty - that sounds quite accusatory and if he's anything like my OH he wouldn't take kindly to it. Maybe he's embarrassed about the way he's been acting but doesn't know how to stop without it looking like he's backing down. Could you send a nice friendly message but asking him a question ("how's your day going" or something) so that he has to answer? If he doesn't answer then you have a right to ask him what's wrong but this way you're making the first move and allowing him to back down without losing face.

That's the way I'd do it anyway! All men are different though!

  • RBG - feel free to rant, it will pass the time :). You not working then? Sorry if you've already gone into that one.

hiya I'm back....went back to bed and literally passed out.....hardly slept last night so I think I must have needed it :S

Dusty I am having a recurrent kidney infection but unfortunately I also have a sore bump and the Hospital and Dr don't have a clue what it is...its sore to stand up from the sofa, to go up and down stairs and to pee (tmi I'm sure but it's like a tugging sensation with pain :S)

I'm 20 weeks today and don't have my big scan until next Wednesday and I WANT IT NOW!!!! LOL.....Jojo i think you are due the same date as me!!! :T

I agree with lillian, its gonna be harder for him to stay in a mood if you smoother him with kindness.

Without thinking I'd have probably sent a text like yours though, because I don't always think straight when I'm in a mood with OH.
  • Dusty I agree with Lillian:o

Just a quick "hey you ok?? You've seemed a bit off the past couple of day.....speak to you later x"
does the trick with my DH:) Its pleasant, not accusing him of anything and gives him the opportunity to tell you whats buggin him if he wants. For all you know he's pee'd off coz he doesn't get to see you as much as he wants!?!? Possibly wishful thinking but you never know;):D

  • Dusty as someone whose XH was so crap during my pregnancy that I ended up with clinical depression and then he ran off with someone else shortly after baby was born...

I would ask yourself "do i really want to live with this man?" bearing in mind that you will never now get him out of your life completely.

If you do want to live with him, then please either do nothing, of offer him an olive branch, even if its not you that's in the wrong.

    Hugs.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
