    Mornings alls :)

Rockinbikergal (love the name by the way) you are a month ahead of me, I can't wait to start feeling bubs and my next scan, good reminder that I will be there in a months time!

Woke up at 5 and had to do a wee sample for the docs :( As if the instructions for "mid flow" sample weren't enough (start weeing, stop, then take sample) it also had a "fill to line". Took quite a while and lots of frustration and then couldn't get back to sleep 'till about half 6 - never good when the alarm goes off at 7!!

Anyhoo(moan over), had a lovely evening last night, one of my best friends lives miles away and she was working in my town today so she stayed last night and we had a lovely catch up :) Not seen her since I found out I was pg, also she has kids already so rarely get a chance to see her on my own so was all fab :)

Can't wait for fireworks night, also love finishing early for MW appointments / scans - only a couple more weeks 'till my next one :)
  • Fuzz thats ok hun technology does decide what it wants to do even though my geek friends try to tell me that technology doesnt have a mind of its own.

Lilac - I have lazy boobs! with DD I measured their output at a maximum of 30 mls combined after 3 months of BF, expressing and FF. BF specialists told me DD was latching properly so must have been me. But to be honest I wasnt surprised as they never got bigger during pregnancy or after. They stayed as a B cup all the way through.

I had a dodgy tummy again this morning. Not happy about that. Also have to try and get into the Drs today to see if I can be signed off till Mat leave starts. The Joys.

DD is being lovely this morning, lots of kisses and cuddles :D

I'm no good at peeing on demand, but I've found a way that works for me. I pee in a huge plastic cup and then pour it into the sample pot. :o

I am planning on starting my maternity leave at 39 weeks. I have a desk job and would probably do more physically at home. Am I mad?
I think if I had much less maternity leave to take I would stay as long as possible. Maybe if I loved my job then 39 weeks wouldn't seem so daunting either. I barely functioned at work during weeks 6 - 10 and I'd worry it'd go that way closer to the due date. I do think you are a little mad though, but only you know your body. :o

    Morning ladies,

well whatever is going on with OH is getting worse. We had a tiff on the phone on monday night where he hung up on me, then tues moren he said hello and that was it before getting into bed, then last night we spoke for 76 seconds bout our insurance claim, then this morning I was in the bathroom putting my make up on and he walked right past, went in the bedroom and got in bed. Not even a hello or anything............he is such a t055er.......I was laughing at him yesterday morning cos he was sulking but he is getting worse. I cannot even remember what the tiff on monday night was about (actually it was about him stealing the covers off me on sunday night - go figure!)

Dusty - my dad is like that with my mum and they've been together nearly 42 years so hopefully it won't mean anything for the future :) It's horrible though isn't it - it happens sometimes when I go home and it's like walking on eggshells especially as he's fine with me and my mum doesn't tend to know what she's done. It normally lasts about 3 days with him and then he's fine. Hope he stops being such a d!ck soon! xx

I never thought of that:o I just pee over the toilet, let it go everywhere and just pray that I get some in the bottle:rotfl::rotfl: Ah well...top tip for the next bubba I suppose:D

CL maternity leave, do whats right for you:) I keep getting funny looks for still being at work but like you I have an easy desk job so figured no point being at home when I can be earning money:) and like you I'd probs do more physical stuff at home than I do at work, someone who recently popped(can't remember who:o) was at work up until their due date:cool: I've started to struggle with sleep and getting comfortable at night so I'm glad I'm finishing at 38weeks..fingers crossed I only get a few days to myself though...will go mental if bubba is late and I have to be induced... will have 4 weeks of boredom:eek:and I'll be pee'd off that I've 'wasted' a month of my leave:o:)

Well I've just sent off my speeding notice, looks like another 3 points for me (which will take me upto 9 ). I think though you can have them taken off after 4 years can't you? The other 6 were in Feb and Aug 2006 so I'll look into getting them taken off. Must learn to sssllllloooooowwwwww down :o

Well I'm finding it quite funny as i know that he knows he is being stupid. I have no problem with him, he has the problem with me so it is him that has to swallow his pride and make the first move. I know that that will really p1ss him off. He is a spoilt child. The fact that he works nights means that we can easily avoid each other til the weekend. If he's still trying to make a point then he'll either go out with the lads on sat night (which suits me fine cos it means I get the tele to myself) or he'll stay in, in which case I'll take the remote and put him through the misery of X factor and Strictly.....ha ha ha *evil laugh*

i'm the same, if I work as late as possible then OH can't be expecting me to be up ladders etc while on mat leave.

RBG - feel free to rant, it will pass the time :). You not working then? Sorry if you've already gone into that one.

Morning ladies. Thought i'd pop in while you're all discussing maternity leave as i can't decide when to start mine. I'm a playworker in a school working with 5-11 year olds, only at lunch time (kind of a glorified dinner lady, but i don't deal with any of the food).
So i organise the play activities and try to keep negative, disruptive behaviour to a minimum, which is particularly difficult with the year 6's i have at the moment as more than a few of them have anger management issues, and i'm regularly breaking up fights. It can be quite demanding as i'm also the 1st aider, plus i'm currently organising the school winter fair...which is a huge event as we raise over £1500 each time.

Anyway as i do love my job i was going to stay as long as possible and break up the half term before i was due-thats 1 week before due date. But since more issues have been arising in the school, i'm starting to rethink and i'm wondering whether to leave the term before, so finish beginning of Jan, but thats 9 weeks before due date and i'm worried that i'll get bored....i know its my decision to make, but any input from you ladies would be good :)
