Anyway as i do love my job i was going to stay as long as possible and break up the half term before i was due-thats 1 week before due date. But since more issues have been arising in the school, i'm starting to rethink and i'm wondering whether to leave the term before, so finish beginning of Jan, but thats 9 weeks before due date and i'm worried that i'll get bored....i know its my decision to make, but any input from you ladies would be good
I know when my Mum finds out one of her ladies is pg, she sticks them straight onto the infants yard as they're more umm...easier to manage:p, and she won't take no for an answer...she a lunchtime & teaching assistant supervisor btw
Do you think you'll be able stay on your feet for an hour a day, with kids, without it having any impact on you...even when you're 30+ weeks pg?? I know I've struggled just taking my time walking around town:o
If you think you can do it & you've spoken to your supervisor to minimise risk to yourself then I don't see why not:)
Oh and maybe try not to take on too much after the fundraiser and see if you can pass on the 1st aider sooner rather then later....no point making it harder for yourself;):)
ETA: sorry to make it sound like school kids are horrible, I know the majority aren't it's just my mum works in a school that has a lot of volatile pupils so I'm aware of the bad side of the job as well as the good1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

They should automatically take off your old points when you send off for these new ones, OH has had a few. Not any more he got into trouble with me cos its not MSE.dustystar02 wrote: »
i'm the same, if I work as late as possible then OH can't be expecting me to be up ladders etc while on mat leave.
.
I might threaten my OH with if he doesn't go up in the loft and get all the baby things down I will do it, this is the first pregnancy he has been in the slightest bit concerned about me so I may as well milk it a bit. He should be home around 12 ish today so no excuse.
jojo is there a reason you just work lunchtimes, do you have other kids? If so I think you'll have enough to keep busy and not get too bored.0 -

The infants and juniors are on one playground unfortunately, and i think i'm the only qualified 1st aider at lunch...must get that sorted.
We do have a group of reception children that are dealt with by another team, i'd never thought of seeing if i could swap over there,i may suggest that as i think that would be the only way i could stay on from January.
Generally the kids are pretty good, its just the difficult older ones, they wouldn't intentionally take a swing at me, but i do have to restrain them occasionally. I can't avoid them as there are only 3 of us on the playground looking after 170 odd children, although they have started to put a teacher out with us, which has helped with osme of the behaviour issues.
Thanks for your help confuzzled, it has given me a couple of things to think about...(goes off to write them down)

Thanks Merfe - I'll put a note in with the license, I have a feeling though there is a special form to fill in and will prob have to pay to get them removed. I'll wait and see what i get through for this one anyway, hopefully I maight get offered to go on a speed awareness course0
-
you only have to pay to get them removed if that is all you are doing, if they are updating your licence for another reason (ie adding on new points, opps) then they will just remove them if they are expired.
I'm pretty sure that is the case but OH has had his updated with lots of new entitlements too, he drives everything now so maybe thats when they came off, i'll check with him later. I think he was only offered the speed awareness course for his first speeding offence which was way before I met him, I don't think it cured him.0 -

It definitely is limbo stage. My 20 week scan is on 2nd November so just under 3 weeks away (aaaaaaaages!) I had to book mine at the scan department when I had my dating scan so at least I knew nice and early when it would be.
Thank you all for the messages – am feeling much better today think I was just having an off day yesterday.
Sorry to hear of your speeding fine Dusty not the best end to the day especially with everything going on with OH at the moment
I’m pretty sure they don’t take off points when updating your licence you have to pay for them. I had some expired points on mine when I had to change my name after getting married. They just sent the updated card back with the green paper slip and had just drawn a line through the expired points but had not removed them from the counterpart. I’m waiting till all of mine expire (end of this month) and then am paying to get them all removed.
Hugs to all those suffering with SPD – sounds really nasty and very debilitating. Hope you find some relief from it soon.
Welcome Teenie D Glad to hear all was well at the scan do we get to see a piccie?
MV I’ve cried when I’ve sold a few of my cars and I wasn’t even pregnant at the time
Giz Happy V Day!!!!!
