A friend of mine keeps her washables in a drawer too Krystal - I use nappy stackers for mine, because my changing table is in the bathroom, and there is nowhere to store nappies, so I hang them off that. I find them indispensable, but wouldn't bother if I was using disposables.
Not sure what we'll do in the new house, because there is no room for a changing table or mat in the bathroom, so I will have to rethink. I've never had my nappies anywhere other than next to a sink - how do people organise themselves if they can't? I don't want dirty nappies of any sort in anyone's bedroom really if I can avoid it.
Moneysaver, if you pop into the parent thread, there are a couple of mums on there that expressed a lot, they'll be able to give you some moral supportIf you wanted to try direct feeding again then do get in touch with the counsellors that came out to you, I promise they will be happy to help you every step of the way

Blimey - you lot have been busy today
Sorry I can't remember who posted what but hugs to Fairy, feeling low in pregnancy stinks xx
Giz - LOL at your belly button comment, I remember it well and been waiting for mine to do the same but I still have 1/2 inch before it even gets level!
Stretchmarks - I was lucky with DD, only had one which is about 1 and half inch long but it seems to have gotten longer now and I have the start of another one quite close to the first.
Meeting with the boss went better than expected. She could see how much I am struggling to walk and said that she doesn't expect to see me back at work anyhow in the state I'm in.
She is checking all my entitlements and getting back to me tomorrow. She expects that I can still start maternity leave when I wanted to at 33 weeks and get signed off until then. So feeling much happier now.Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
Pain now gone in groin only to be replaced by nausea of the worst kind. Oh and a bad case of diawoowoo in sainsburys (made it to the loo don't worry
) hmm actually, wonder if that had something to do with the pain.?
Now waiting to see if OH rings me st 8pm like he normally does or if he's still sulking.
Thanks for the research fuzz. Glad to know someone is looking out for this baby, even if it's not it's mummy

Hi honey
BAD! I have been given Codine but it has NO affect what so ever she has suggested I try a tens machine but wants to check with my consultant 1st as they can bring on contractions
I too am worried about having a "natural" birth as my sister did this and as a result is still suffering with her Pelvis & back 13 years later
I have been reading up on early induction & elective sun roof given the choice I would choose a sun roof as I have read a lot to say that early induction is not always sucessful & can end up with emergency section. I would rather have the section from the outset.
I thought about saying to the consultant "can you 100% say I will not damage myself with a natural birth?" If you can;t then I want an elective section and I am not leaving this room until you agree;):o DH is coming with me to support me so he can use his sudo medical vet knowledge to help me
If you can think it........it will happen0 -

Been feeling pretty emotional the past week or so and just been lurking. I know how fairyshazza feels in terms of lack of posting but I guess we will post more the further along we all go.
At 17+4 at the moment and on the countdown to my 20 week scan on the 5th November. Hopefully all will be well.
I am not really feeling like I am showing much, just feeling fat at the moment. Still in between normal clothes, which are too tight and maternity which fall off me.
Sleeping rubbish at the mo too which is pretty annoying, just would love to have a full night sleep again but not happening.
I will probably finish work as soon as I can as I was moved to a different job at the start of this year and I hate it. Probably because it's pretty much permanent nights and that's tough at the moment. I would think I will finish on 1st Feb but leave will officially start on the 24th Feb.
Trying to sort out the house and redefine a bedroom as a nursery but as we need to insulate the walls (old house) it is going to be a while before I will be thinking about furnishing it which I would like to get done and out of the way.
Well, post over for the time being, will try and keep up and post a bit more!:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
This will be no 6 grandchild for OH parents but unfortunately both my folks have passed away or it would have been their first. I know they would have been chuffed to bits.:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0
