I'm 1 day behind you, mines Monday, I'll be offered the triple test. I still haven't decided, will probably do it in the waiting room, I wish i knew if I had it the 1st time or not.

What does the triple test test for? I had a random phonecall from the MW today asking what bloods I've had taken at the hospital. I've only had one vial taken when I went for my 12 week scan - and as far as I'm aware that was for the Nuchal Screening only. I really must learn to ask more questions!!!

MW can't see me til 19 weeks. How do you get the exemption card?
I had a silver cross with DD1 but killed it off-roading.

Do you see your MW at your GP surgery? Will she book you in for your 20 week scan or can you do that yourself?

I got the exemption form when I went for my booking in appt. The MW signed and stamped it and I had to fill in my details and post it off. It only took about a week to arrive.

What pram is taking your fancy this time round??

This is the system we've got for squeak, though we go it second hand. I've got the carrycot which turns it into a lovely pram, and I like it that when we're out and about she's just as cosy as she is at home!

The carrycots can be had quite cheap on ebay, we paid less than £300 for the buggy, car seat (posh lie flat one) and the carrycot!

Plus the frame weighs almost nothing and folds tiny, and unlike most travel systems, it's all terrain lol

Oooh, I missed this post. I'm liking this one!! Is it good off road?

See MW wherever, they are homeless.

    Must nag about this.

I have a quinny buzz from last time. Love it.

  • Yowsers this board has moved fast the last few days
Well this was my first day of maternity leave and I've loved it :D Had lunch with my friend, oh and got to see bubs again as I had to go for scan to see if this naughty baby is still breech and its not - hoorah :T Not breech or back to back anymore - whoo hoo. So my handstands in the pool might well have helped - either that or the midwife just had it completely wrong in the first place :p

Oh and Bizzy babies called today to offer me a tens machine to try - anyone got any experience of them???

Gems-hope you get to see bubs pretty soon!

If you had the nuchal test at 12 weeks you won't have the triple test - their both for Downs its just different tests are offered in different parts of the country.

I was booked in for my 20 week scan by the sonographer after my 12 week one. Again the system for booking this will differ from place to place, I'd call up your midwife/surgery to check how they do it and to ensure you get your appointment.
