I still worry that my cervix won't hold for whatever reason, but like you say, every day after 24 weeks is a big step.

Especially when the LO decides to give it a good kicking, and I get those weird spasms going through it.

Back from docs, they don't think I have full-blown SPD yet, but have referred me to a physio to try and avoid me going down that route.

Hungry - Fybogel. It's a Ispaghula husk and you need to drink lots of fluids to help it work. But it works for me. You can get it on prescription, but you can also buy it in Boots etc. I've been told it's perfectly safe (suffered prior to being preggers and asked then), but you might want to check yourself.

If you're taking Iron tablets this can make things worse, so if you are or do need to start taking them at any point, I can recommend Spatone. It's supposed to be gentler (you pour a sachet in orange juice). I've been taking it daily and haven't had any worse off blockage than normal.

Anyone tried out this pram? It's a web exclusive so I can't go into store, but it looks good, especially the bit about small car boots!

Thanks for the good luck!! Just going to re-pack hospital bags ready for a possible extended stay - then i have to phone the hospital at 2pm to check that i can still go in at 3pm and there havent been any emergancies jumping ahead of me.... so still not definate, but hopefully it will all kick off today:j

Thinks bubs knows somethings going on as it kicking and fidgeting so much it hurts!!! will keep you posted......

Good luck, hoping the induction works, labour should be quicker with induction, so at least you'll see babe sooner.

And don't worry too much, it's really ok.

    Hi everyone,

Well one week til d-day, v exciting. may go slightly earlier possibly.... have had a stitch pain down right hand side of my bump all morning and some pulsing lower back pain, its now stopped so maybe nothing but fingers crossed!!

Legs - i will most definatly be putting little one in some halloween related babywear my birthday is the 30th so halloween has always been a memorable time for me (DS2 hates it and screams if we go anywhere near the halloween aisles in shops

Lillian - we are getting the mothercare my4 looks quite big but we tried it in our 2004 fiesta zetec and with the wheels off (they pop off really easy) it doesn't take up much room at all, it has proper tyres and fits the maxi cosi car seat which fits without isofix.
Its really worth going in and trying different types

Labour vibes to all that want / need. Good luck Gems!
and send some vibes my way peeps xx

Thanks for the advice. Will give it another week and see if it settles with more fluids and fruit etc before I take anything. I used to take Senokot before getting pg, but pregnancy seemed to have made things 'normal' for me until now.

And now I've just realised that I'm discussing poo with you all at lunchtime. Sorry!

Hubby was on facebook last night and saw that a guy who he was at school with baby has been born 15 weeks early, and seems to be doing well, there were photos. The really ridiculous thing is that he was born at 24+5 and as a result they are not entitled to receive HiPG!

Look at you lot talking about labour and I've just made my first midwife appt for two weeks today. I feel like such an apprentice at all of this :o.

We're thinking of getting this pram, LINKY.
Mum is buying it and hopefully Dad will get us the Ventura car seat. Need to now try and shop about to get it cheaper.
    Any thoughts/experience/opinions?
