Morning, mummy-to-bes, hope all is well.
Have you got any Kushie/Kooshie nappies in your collection?? Got some of ebay and I'm too impatient to not get an opinion on them:o:D they're AIO's which I didn't think I'd get BUT they're so cute:)

I was literally about to look at them now when delivery for the Oyster travel system arrived :D:T:T:j:j Going to go and fiddle (with the pram, dirty girl)

Midwife at 2pm - please baby, TURN for Mummy!

Anyone due in next 2-4 weeks
,...are you going to embarrass bubba in a pumpkin-esque sleepsuit?? I nearly buckled and bought a glow in the dark skeleton all-in-one from Asda yesterday but wimped out.

EDIT - eeeek, 26 days to go from your trafic lights baby chart thing.
• Would you all please stop giving birth. Every time you do it puts me closer to the top of the list ;) Our house needs way too much work doing to it before sproglet arrives in 4 months. 4 months....4 MONTHS... arrghhhhhhhhhh

Can anyone recommend anything that's good for umm....unblocking :o Thanks

Right, pram advice again.

MiL wants to buy it and she's said anything up to £500 apparently ! I don't want her spending that much but it does make what we can get a lot better.

Main sticking points are:

We want a travel system
Our car isn't Isofix
We have a 2000 Fiesta so a fairly small boot so pram will need to fold down pretty small.
We want it from birth so lie flat mode essential
OH doesn't want plasticky wheels so the cheap looking wheels are out
He also wants good suspension (I keep telling him we're not buying a car ;))

So - any suggestions? x

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.
• And now I can't even go home to pick up food on my lunch:cry: My car is missing from the car park which can only mean DH has been and picked it up so he's mobile on his day off:( Not a good start to the week is it?? lol
Ah well, least it means I can get McDonalds or similar !!!! for my lunch:D

Gems fingers crossed there's no inconsiderate emergencies:D Must be exciting to know you'll deffo have a bubs in the next day or so:T:T

This is the system we've got for squeak, though we go it second hand. I've got the carrycot which turns it into a lovely pram, and I like it that when we're out and about she's just as cosy as she is at home!

The carrycots can be had quite cheap on ebay, we paid less than £300 for the buggy, car seat (posh lie flat one) and the carrycot!

Plus the frame weighs almost nothing and folds tiny, and unlike most travel systems, it's all terrain lol

Thanks Fuzz. I'll try. I find I can't drink anything on a empty stomach without distaster very soon afterwards, so I must make sure I drink more when I eat. Fruit - I'm down to peeled apples, raspberries and blueberries at the moment. Anything else doesn't go down too well :(

ps, anyone else get hiccups a lot, even when they've not had anything to eat for a couple of hours?
