MLSL - my second sweep worked last time - worth asking for another I would say.
Giz, £270 seems an awful lot to spend without trying them. I would wait til bubs is here (put the money in a savings account if you have to
) and try a few different ones. I found all in ones useless while DS was still breastfed, they leaked breastmilk poo all over the place quite often. I do like my all in ones for going out and about now he is a toddler, but still use a nappy-and-wrap system mostly, which was much the best when he was little. Once I found a good wrap (Motherease Airflow for us), we never had a leak. That's more than I can say for disposables too, yuck. Obviously different nappies suit different babies, so it really is worth trying a few. 0 -
I have a set of size 1 little lambs which were very good at containing poopsplosions... But then the pop in (aio) has never leaked either... I think it depends on the leg cuff / elastic... Itti bitti's barely contain toddler poo so I doubt they'd work in a newborn...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Don't worry Chakani, I'm not buying until baby is here. I just like to plan! I'm going to try the Surrey Real Nappies free Trial kit if I can get my hands on it. I might buy that 'free' bumgenius nappy...looking on ebay I could make a profit on it if I don't use it anyway. Just trying to get my head round what I think might be right for me.MLSL - my second sweep worked last time - worth asking for another I would say.

She recommended them to me too Giz... Maybe they get a good kickback off them lol...
I like my nature babies wraps... They fit well, are bright colours and made in the UK with UK workers...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Good luck for your appointment. Is that your '16 week' one? Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

*Waves* Hi Sharkey, nice to see you over here

Sorry Giz, was I going on again? :rotfl:
I must stop that.
We have put an offer in on a house this morning, it's hard to walk with everything crossed. Really hoping they go for it, they keep saying they are keen to get on with it, so are we! If it went through, we would be there in time for me to have my birth pool
I'm trying so hard not to get excited. 0 -
OK well my midwife felt my tummy (and said it felt the right size) and listened for a heartbeat, so she might do that for you. You'll probably have your urine tested and blood pressure taken. And if you had blood tests - she'll look at the results. Did you get your bounty pack already? I asked for mine cos I didn't get it at the 8 week appt.sharkeybabe wrote: »Hi Giz - well by my dates is the 16 week one but the sonographer said that I am 14 weeks, but wierdly the scan pics show my dates on it, so to be honest not really sure!!!!lolBaby Giz born 6/2/110 -
