Stupid Q alert on the sure Start Grant form..........

    Part 5 General information
Has a Sure Start Maternity Grant from the
Social Fund already been paid to either you or
someone else for this baby or babies?

Are you or your partner already getting
    Child Benefit?

I get the first part, clearly a no, but does the second part mean are you getting CB for any child? Or this one?

    Morning ladies,
Labour vibes to those that need them :)

Interesting chat about nappies, i am keeping a keen eye on this!

I am just a little upset as yesterday i was sick for the first time since being pregnant. Now don't worry i realise that i have been very lucky as i am now 26wks 6 days, but yesterday was also the first time in my life i have been sick in public! It happened as i got off the bus from work, in the middle of the bus station! (yuk!)

Oh well, i feel better today and have driven to work as i don't seem to get motion sick when driving, but appear to be getting more and more motion sick the further along the pg i get!?? Oh well.

Back to work and lurking :)

    Hi all
Thanks for labour vibes :) so desperately need them!

Tigtag: lovely scan pic! I can completely sympaphise with you re: toothache pain. I had a week of it and didn't feel human at all, I couldn't eat/ sleep/ focus on anything. Mine was root canal too, my dentist drilled the tooth and filled it with a medicine to stop the pain, I actually feel normal now! I was also advised to eat live yoghurt daily to fight the infection!

    Delain: good luck for today

Smartie: I thinkyou should phone the labour ward, get checked out! I'm sure you shouldn't still be in this much pain.

MLSL: I'm now 4 days over and feeling pretty sorry for myself. My sis phoned yest and kept asking why I hadn't had it, I actually felt quilty that I wasn't in labour and went to bed crying. OH was very sweet and calmed me down.

*labour vibes* to anyone who needs them.

Big labour vibes KK, what a cheek of your sister - so glad (sorry) won't be having this, although have a feeling that during my induction there will be many texts/phonecalls/e-mails asking if he has arrived yet - no bog off!!

Smartie can you not get an appointment at your GP, or is it one of those an emergency appt is 5 weeks on friday, mine I can usually get one that day if I ring at 08:30 or 2??

Tinks, again make a gp appointment and get some free gaviscon as could help - if doesn't work pls keep going back until you get something I had to three times until I got ranitidine which is brill!

Hugs to Tinks, Smartie and KitKat.

Being a first time mum2be I'm struggling to appreciate all your sufferings...I'm sure I will do my own moans later as things get uncomfortable and if I go overdue.

Smartie you do sound in too much pain. I would also phone the labour ward if that's what you need to do to get help.

    Rant away Tinks (hugs)

    Nearly Friday.

Ooo I have a consultant appt this afternoon with Mr Dishy.......but my mum is coming too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DD is coming as well, as I have a scan first.....growth. Be interested to see what they say, as they were keen to point to ges diabetes, rather than a c0ck up on their part on dates, but my bloods are back and no diabetes and my iron levels were ok too hurrah :D

DD loves the scans.......I think it makes it a bit more real for her.

Quick Q.....(I do know that is all I seem to do, sorry :o )

I am supposedly 28 weeks, but when bubs moves, it is totally apparent....even my less than observant DD notices the movement. Now I am and was overweight, so it's not like I am "just bump" there is plenty around him :D:D:D

does this seem like he is quite big?
