We have the builders in, as if all the dust is not bad enough as the days go on I am starting to think he is called Billy the Kid
And I am an idiot, as he is a "friend" I paid him too much up front and cant afford to sack him.
Tonights wonderful discovery at 1130pm is that none of the upstairs sockets are working :mad:
My tooth/teeth STILL hurt after three weeks and because they need to do an x-ray to see which one needs the root canal treatment I am pretty much scuppered for at least another 13 weeks
My dad is an @rsehole
Just feeling like I cant take much more [/HUGE RANT ALERT & THANK YOU FOR LISTENING]
On a lighter note - look what we got done tonight:D

Parents and friends can be rubbish - so rant away :rotfl: better to do it in (relative) anonymity than to say it to someone who will go the person in question and say 'Tigtag said...' :rotfl:
I'm up early (again!) I keep getting cramp in my right leg in bed. The normal way to deal with this is getting out of bed and hopping around on it which is atm a physical impossibilityby the time I've managed to get rid of the stiff crampy feeling it's time for bed again :wall:
That scan photo is beautiful! Sometimes I think they make the babies look a bit ghostly but that really is a nice one
DD1's school coat arrived yesterday, because my nan very kindly bought them their school shoes this time, saving me a fortune, and their coats are all getting a bit small I wanted to get them a nice one each, didn't like the ones in Tesco and thought they were expensive so I hit the internet, and got two pink Helly Hansen coats for the twins for £30 (saving £90 from RRP:T) and a funky blue Animal one for DD1 as they ddin't have a proper winter HH one in her size. and the lightweight ones were expensive. Got it direct from Animal and it had £32.50 off  I feel ever so MSE :money: but I'm not really cos I still spent £60 on three coats :rotfl::rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Tigtag - rant away
Sounds like a horrid day, BUT wow what a geat scan pic:j Was that a private 4D one? I'm umming and aahing as to whether to have one or not. I'm now 29+5 but I don't want to know the flavour. Do you know if they can do it so I don't find out but still get some good pics?

Well I'm still here, looks like sweep did nothing I'm so disappointed I could cry. Booked for an induction 1 week today, really scared as I've never had one before - when I had ds the other girl in the ward screamed every time they gave her the gel, doesn't fill me with confidence.
Delain good luck for today
kitkat & courgette let's hope we all get going soon
hugs to everyone that's feeling down
hope everyone else is wellBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
Tigtag what a gorgeous pic the 4D scans are amazing and i think they help you to bond with baby. Sorry you had a carp day chick.
PLymouth they will normally ask when you go in if you want to know the sex and avoid the area in question if you dont.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

We had one done with DS and asked them not to show us that area so they turned the screen away to work out which way round baby was and then turned it back when there was no danger of us seeing anything we didn't want to see. We still got a wonderful 15 minute DVD and photos and didn't see his bits. I'm looking for the best deal at the moment so we can have another one for this bump (what you do for one you have to for the other!)MYLITTLESISTERLOLA wrote: »Well I'm still here, looks like sweep did nothing I'm so disappointed I could cry. You can have more than one sweep. I had my first one at 3 days over which didn't work and another at a week over, I went into labour that night and DS was born the following evening. I had SPD last time and was house bound so going stir crazy, I kept on at my MW to do something so she kept a close eye on me and did the extra sweep.
Another bad night last night, just couldn't get comfortable, and then DS came in a 4am for a cuddle and that was it no hope of getting back to sleep properly! DS is going out with is friends today to a local farm park, which will give me a few hours for a duvet day with DH (who is thankfully feeling much better) and then have physio later and appoint with MW, where I'm going to ask to change my consultant. He refused to give someone a section about 6 months back after initially suggesting it would be good for her SPD. He then forced her to have a natural birth saying her pain was all in her head. She is now wheelchair bound, has had to have her pelvis plated and her DH has had to give up work to look after her and their 2 kids. I therefore don't feel very confortable under his care, especially as he was so dismissive of me when I met him at 16 weeks.
Hope everyone is ok, labour vibes to those who need them, thinking of you all past your due dates!0 -
Wanted to pop on and wish delain and MLSL good luck today. Delain I hope the movement comes back and that the steroids work.
giz - I have bought the nature babies washable wipes - fleece on one side and terry on the other. I have some flannels too but decided it was worth paying something seeing as I'll save loads on them. I also got some funky stripy ones and a wet bag which are lovely. I got them from kittykins as they had 20% off at the time!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Labour vibes to everyone who needs it. Good luck Delain.

I'm leaning towards bumgenius all in ones with poppers. 20 nappies for £270 (at a very quick look). Any opinions?
I loved them but Molly was too small for them at first so you'd need either a few size 1 reusables or a couple of packs of disposables. It was about five or six weeks before she fit them.
Good luck to delain and labour vibes to anyone else who needs them. I am now heading back to the parenting thread and hoping to be back here in a whileOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
