Rach, I think 2 part would be better for you from a drying point of view... If you like, when I next do a load I can hang up 1 each of a tots bots shaped, itti bitti sio and pop in sio and see which dries quickest? the rainbows are terry, the pop ins are bamboo but feel more like terry and the ittis are bamboo but layered differently so they're more cotton feel...
krystal - do that for fuzz, I'm pretty clued up on nappies, have done loads of research and have tonnes (15 new size 1 tots bots rainbows I was given and a few size 2s, plus another stash coming from a friend up north, about 15 motherease one size/one life for later, plus some prefolds!). Oh, plus some kushies which are brand new though heard they're not so good...they did only cost a tenner though! Have gone a bit mad I think. I have about 4 packs of disposeable liners that people have chucked in plus about 50 fleece liners :eek: I must stop buying fluffy stuff! Only now short of a few size M wraps, have tons of small (again mostly brand new given to me), but want to see how I get on with the 3 or 4 med I have before buying more.freebiequennie wrote: »its from daisybaby and £2.50 is the price inclusives of postage so total cost and it did actually cost them £2.25 postage plus obv the packing so they def are not overcharging.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
OMG I'm all nappied out. I spent ages tonight watching you tube videos and reading reviews.
I think terry's squares are out for me...too much folding.
I'm leaning towards bumgenius all in ones with poppers. 20 nappies for £270 (at a very quick look). Any opinions?
There is a 'free' sample (£3.95) postage in the bounty book. Is this worth purchasing?
I think I'm going to try reusable wipes too. Although I already have a stash of disposable ones (freebies).
@freebiequennie - this is what I am thinking, buy as much now and use offers as much as I can. I still feel it's too early to start buying stuff but I'm itching to get spending so I can spread it. I know I can put the money aside...but it doesn't have that same feeling of spreading the cost IYSWIM!Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

Just tried to book my 16 week MW appointment. Soonest they can get me in is at 18 weeks. Oh well.
I have to have extra appointments too - fibroids, low BMI and my Dad is diabetic.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Happy due date Courgette and MLSL!
Well I'm still here
Been to Tesco's and to MILs. If anyone is thinking of exchanging their vouchers for the double vouchers make sure the assistant gives you the right ones. I asked for phone vouchers and assistant was adamant I needed home vouchers. Went to spend them on a phone and surprise surprise they wouldn't accept them! Or exchange them! I was so annoyed but left store. OH phoned up tonight and complained, and we just picked up our new phone. Stupid assistant!0 -
Giz, I would buy the freebie for that price... There's a couple on the parent thread that use bum genius if you want to ask opinions on there... (We're very friendly
)
On washable wipes... Just get a click lock box and some cheap flannels... I was fortunate enough to get the cheeky wipes kit to test from Bizzie baby... I loved it and thought it was great, but we use disposable wipes at the moment because we're too lazy to keep refilling the box lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

hiya girls is there anyone due in dec? i need a bump buddy
I'm due Dec 6th, so 24+2 today. I had my midwife appointment today and I'm measuring 27 weeks:eek: Midwife said not to worry he's probably just had a growth spurt and will end up measuring fine! She did say it is all baby, and she could feel him really well:D Also got to hear the heartbeat - it's the first time except for the 20 week scan so it was lovely to hear. Bump did protest a little after listening to heartbeat I though he was trying to break out! Also got my HiPG form but it's signed for next week, I must remember not to post it until then.0 -
Well I'm home and not in labour
going in tomorrow at ten to wait for an induction slot!
I've found out that when baby is born they want to give me lots of steroids to try and give me my movement back. Thats why they were so keen to get her out :rotfl:
Rach I met someone called Debbie tonight, I'm not sure if she was a mw or doctor though :rotfl: They asked for my notes to be sent by taxi from Bournemouh :eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Best wishes for tomorrow Delain, hope you enjoy your mummy cuddles soon. I hope as well that your symptoms do all clear up and it is not M.S. and its just something pregnancy related in the end. xxxBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
