    Morning all,

BigBird - that sounds really uncomfortable :( hopefully just baby lying on a nerve!

Gems - sounds like something is slowly starting, though I guess it could still be ages! It will be interesting to see what advice I am given compared to yours (which if I remember was that you'd be induced at some point?), though my situation is slightly different due to previous history as well as current SPD. I am going in basically requesting a c section.

ddebski - welcome, I've added you to the list

thanks for all the good wishes, will let you all know how it goes. I'll be here until 1.30pm though so no doubt be hanging around this morning!

:rotfl::rotfl: sleep deprived I guess... and baby brain!

Actually she was on, she'd just ended up on the same line as smartie rather than a seperate line :o

Think it has dawned on me that we could have a baby in the next few days, certainly likely by due date now
Have a few bits I need done, friend is getting me a bra extender and some arnica when she's out, need to sort out the fact that the slippers I bought online are too small (feet grown in pg?) and I am going to label all the baby's clothes so if I am in longer than expected DH will know what is what to bring...otherwise he'll not know the difference between a vest and a sleepsuit! :rotfl:

Your DH sounds similar to mine:rotfl: I've bagged up various things and labelled the bag so he can just 'grab n go' although I do think I've managed to educate him in the difference between babygro's & vests/mittens & socks:o:rotfl:
It is getting really close for you now..Eek! Exciting though:D Wish I was closer to my due date but at the same time I'm in denial that it's ever gonna happen:cool:

think I am still in denial too! If I had a choice I'd say I'd go in on friday for section as DH has a day off so wouldn't use any pat leave over the weekend when I would be in hospital. He is going to the opera thursday night, though obv if I go in thurs he wouldn't go, but I'd like it if he could as ticket is bought and he is looking forward to it. But I don't know if they do planned ones each day or just certain days. we have a drawer of newborn clothes and a drawer of 0-3 months, i've packed a couple of vests and sleepsuits in each size, but am going to label what is a vest etc in the drawers. He's not stupid by any means but easy to do it this way I think. I guess I may have to repack my hosp bag tonight anyway if c section is a goer.

Well things have been busy around here since i last looked - been trying to tidy the house a little as it is a mess and i thought i must not come on here or i will never get off. Congratulations to those who have finally got to meet their little ones. Labour vibes and stay put vibes to those who need them.

Well i am on the 1st page of the EDD list now so things must be getting close for me now. Baby kicking really well and sometimes a little too much! Hospital bag is packed and OH knows where it is. Still munching my way through love hearts like they are going out of fashion.

Am off to read back and maybe get a little look at any new arrivals :)

    Morning all,

Still no sign for me!!! Currently drinking RLT and going to buy some pineapples later and make a pineapple tikka massala with extra spice to see if that helps. OH is fast asleep so no chance for the other option. lol

Labour vibes/congrats to everyone on their way or already enjoying their new arrivals.

Noticed ethelsmum has not been on, hoping she's having mummy cuddles. xxx

Still here . MW called me this morning to see if I was still waiting, she wasn't seeing anyone for an hour so she squeeed me in and gave me a sweep . Wasn't painful at all, I am extremally favourable and a good 3cms dilated so far. Baby is engaged and just sat there waiting to come.
I asked about induction - its at term+13 here but I'm a bit anxious as I had a 3rd degree in my first labour and lost a lot of blood so she's referred me to the consultant this Friday to arrange a date for induction.
Fingers crossed I will go naturally though.

Congrats Budgetblonde. Welcome to all the newbies. Hope you appointment goes ok Rach.

    Labour vibes JMF and Dream.
