My baby boy was born on Thurs morning at 10.21am, his name is Oliver and weighed 5lb 12oz. Was 37 +3 so was huge shock to go into labour early, I made it to the hospital just in time & Oliver was born 4 mins later!

Bah Courgette sorry you're still waiting hon.

I'm off sick again..3rd day now..feeling guilty although I am properly poorly. Waiting for my antibiotic prescription to arrive so I can start those. So sick of this infection now.

My yoga teacher sent me a shirty text this morning as I texted her earlier to say I wouldn't be able to make tonights class. Aside from anything, I think the possibility of spreading infection around a room of 5 or 6 other pregnant women would be more than irresponsible of me.

She moaned that I hadn't given her 48 hours notice. She's never told me you need to give notice and the way I am feeling, she got a properly s h i t t y text in return from me! After 5 days ill in bed and 3 days off work, she IS NOT a priority..grrrrr.

You may have heard that the government intends to stop paying the Health in Pregnancy Grant for women who reach the 25th week of their pregnancy on or after 1 January 2011.

If you reach the 25th week of your pregnancy before 1 January 2011 you will still be able to get the grant, as long as you meet the qualifying rules. You can read about the budget announcement by following the link below.

Until the Health in Pregnancy Grant stops being payable, the information on this page still applies.

sorry to hear it all stopped courgette ((hugs))

Just wondered if anyone would recommend using a tens machine? hubby has just asked if i wanted to get one. has anyone used one during labour before or plan to use one?

Also would anyone recommend one of those anglecare nappy bins? just been having a look at one online.

Wow, well done for no pain relief. I take it you didn't have a choice in the matter given you nearly didn't even make it to hospital in time. How long were you in labour for?

It's good to know you do forget It's the one thing about the birthing videos that gives me confidence is the peace and serenity every mother seems to be in once baby is born, like all the pain is washed away.
