  • Poor Courgette - this does mean that baby will be a dream once it arrives, sleeping right through the night and hardly crying :A

Congratulations Smartie on your girl and Horse on your boy. Great news!!

Courgette - you have my sympathies. I hope baby makes a speedy appearance.

It's super early and I'm at the airport waiting to board. Hope you all have a great week and I look forward to loads of baby news when I get back x

    have a good hol sammy

bit of a disturbed sleep for me, but never mind. Woke at about 4, got up for loo at 5 and then thanks to me being rather windy and waking the baby I've been awake and being kicked since! Then was aware that dh is meant to be leaving early for work (anytime now) and hadn't heard him get up so couldn't settle back. He's now in the bath so I might manage a bit more sleep before my mum turns up.

Courgette I can't believe that baby didn't come, must be so comfy. Hope everything goes Ok today x

Thank goodness its wednesday last day at work for this week and I have sunday and monday off next week woohoo. Wore my trainers last night and I'm not in so much pain this morning so I think I'll do trainers from now on and see how I am on the 20th when I see the consultant if I mention the pains. Was aching by the end of the night but not as bad as yesterday and only some mild pain this morning.

HIP grant has gone in this morning yay, was lucky too as it'll cover the cost for the pushchair I got on sunday and I'm watching some bunk beds on ebay at the moment, if I can get these for a reasonable price I might even have some change left over for a little treat.
  • Just a quick question. Does the free dental care only apply to NHS dentists? I'm not with an NHS one and have an appointment today. I think I'm going to get a little bit told off for not looking after my teeth properly and eating too many sugary sweets :p

    Thanks

Congratulations Smartie and Horse!!:j:j:j Horse I can't get over how quick that was, I want a quick labour but that sounds scary!

Courgette - so sorry it all stopped for you. Sending more labour vibes your way. What are in you in hospital today for? Do you feel any different about induction?

I think I finally feel ready for my baby now:D well I guess I should! I think partly because is getting hard to be comfortable in bed now. My OH's DD1 thinks baby should come today so that dob is 8/9/10. Looking pretty unlikely though!

I know im only newly pregnant, but i was thinking last night. Would i still be entitled to the HIP?

I heard they are taking it away from April '11 and baby is due May '11.

My midwife said that she beleives that it stops as of dec 31st, this year. So you'd need to be 25 weeks before that date in order to qualify, but she wasn't 100%.

Congrats on the new babies being born....Courgette i'm going to send the hugest vibes over to you. Your little one must be soooooo comfy in there :-) can't be much longer for you.
