Lilacpixie - I am registered with Bounty but they insist you get your first pack from your midwife (who knows nothing about them!) the voucher for the next pack is within the first pack. I have complained to Bounty and they are supposedly following up with the hospital I am attached too. So maybe drop them a line too.

I didn't get my first pack from my midwife as our hospital doesn't do them but got an email from Bounty with a voucher my my second pack

Congrats to Smartie, Horse and their little ponies!

Hoping to hear Courgette's news in the morning.

Catwoman, I have complained to Bounty, they didn't say anything about sending a voucher so I can get the second pack. To be honest, I'm not worried about getting the first pack as it doesn't have a lot in it, but I'd like the follow-on ones with the freebies ;)

In the first pack it's mainly leaflets, but there is a voucher for a free pack of newborn nappies from Tesco and a voucher for a Bumgenius nappy where you pay about £4 postage.

The second pack is pretty good. I got 1 pampers nappy, small pack of wipes, tiny pot of sudocrem, a breastpad sample and nipple cream sample and a can of caffeine free diet coke. There is also a £2 off any pampers product voucher.

The next 2 packs you supposedly get at the hospital when you give birth.

@Horse congratulations :) Sounds like an easy birth.

I've been balling my eyes out watching more birth videos! Some people make it look very easy, some make me very scared!

I just got temporarily excited at a True Blood advert on channel 4...but then realised it's season 2 and I've seen it, not that I won't watch it again...

Yay! Congratulations Smartie and Horse :) And fingers crossed things are progressing well for Courgette. I have to go into the office for a meeting tomorrow, the last time I'll see the team before maternity leave starts, so been making chocolate brownies tonight to take in with me. It's making maternity leave and actually having this baby seem very close!

House is literally a few stumbles from cath rennies. We have a viewing on Thursday. Today we viewed on in Downfield just off kingsway. My excitment of the day was nearly stalling my car in a puddle/pond in hospital street
