Congrats to Smartie & hubby on birth of their little girl. :T

    Update from me:

My baby boy was born on Thurs morning at 10.21am, his name is Oliver and weighed 5lb 12oz. Was 37 +3 so was huge shock to go into labour early, I made it to the hospital just in time & Oliver was born 4 mins later!

    Evening!

Congrats to Smartie - fantastic news and get well soon!

Courgette - hope all is going well for you.

Don - I'm the opposite - at 35 weeks I was measuring closer to 37! Frankly that's a wee bit scary for me.

Had my 35 week appointment on Friday - all went well. DH got to hear the heartbeat and baby is apparently measuring about 6lb. Am now in denial about just what weight this baby will be when it comes out. Really hope it doesn't put on the 1lb per week that everyone keeps telling me it will!!! That's just not on!

And Dreambirdie - good call on the appointment running late - 1hr and 15 minutes. Partially due to the woman who was in before me being told she had a problem (so obviously didn't object to the delay) with her baby. Poor woman - felt so sorry for her as she was on her own. Didn't see my consultant (although yours was doing some appointments) just one of the other doctors. Baby is head down but not engaged yet. Yayy on finishing work by the way!

Does anyone know if I should start taking RLT? am 36 weeks today and keep seeing conflicting advice -some say not to start til at least 37 weeks - others say to start earlier. I don't know what to do.

Congrats! and welcome to baby Oliver - sounds like me in labour although I made slightly better time lol - I had 10 mins to spare by time I got to labour ward! 4 mins - wow! :D Bet that the midwive was frantically opening up the birth pack thing and thrust the gas and air in your hand :)
