I'd have thought he'd test it there and then as it's just a dipstick they use to see if there's anything in it that shouldn't be.
They should only need to send it off if it needs looking into more:)1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Thanks everyone. Thankfully it's a small local hospital, like a cottage one really, so there's no distance at all when I get there. I do feel a bit calmer now which is good.
lovely name Nene.
welshlassie, I will ask about using tens for pain relief too. Mine needs new electrodes but the lady gave me the empty packet so I know which to get.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Kat - lots of places do shared care where you see the mw one time and the dr the next. If they don't have a mw they should be used to preg ladies!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

neneromanova - so nice to hear that everything is going so well with the new one - so often forums are just full of complaints about whingy, crying babies with one problem or another. It's nice to know its not like that for everyone.

Also would anyone recommend one of those anglecare nappy bins? just been having a look at one online.
I got one free with my Pregnancy and Birth magazine subscription, it looks like it will be good but I'm not going to bother buying the capsules that go in it once the one that comes with it has run out, I'll just use Tesco value nappy bags (4p for 100 - 54p for 300?!) and chuck them in - thanks to whoever suggested that (I think it was MERFE but I might be wrong!)

Hi Everyone,
I am so rubbish at posting on here but i do lurk pretty much every day without fail!
Nothing much to report from here, 4weeks 5 days to go til d-day, still resisting packing my bags...although i do keep having a panic this one will be early... but i doubt it
DS2 has started at a new nursery (council run) so he's only in for 2 hrs every day, am just about coping with the 15min walk there although its getting more tiring, still pretty useless at home, i'm now working on a achieve one thing each day method that i created myself lol just about managing to keep the house reasonably tidy, although i have to leave a little pile of swept up dirt everyday for oh to sweep up into a dustpan as bending is just too painful.
Back is just as bad as it was, gets worse if i do anything really, but i'm just going to stick it out, not long now and its been like this since about 22 weeks ish, got a physio appt for 2 weeks before i'm due, was going to try Rach's tip of calling in tears but i don't see the point, i know (maybe) from my last pregnancy that the pain should go as soon as baby is here and i think its unlikely they will give me any better advice than the physio woman did at the antenatal i went to so i'm just coping with it
Had a peek at the list earlier and not including bold ladies or double dates think i'm about 12th... can't believe it, feels like yesterday i was at the bottom of the list
Labour vibes to courgette and anyone else waiting
Welcome to new babies
and welcome to new preggers ladies if any newbies want to add me on FB i'm steph george wearing a red top with my boys
