Smartie im with you on the 6 wee visits a night, but mainly because i wake up with so much pain in my hips that the walk to the loo clicks it all back into place and i can get back into bed and lay on the oppersite hip, but i do need to wee too!! Often i see every hour of the night, but last night i didnt see 4am at all :)
You must be getting excited now?:T

    of course, I'd be honoured!!

Seems that walking back from nero (only 5 mins and v slowly) was foolish. I can now not really move at all without horrendous pain. Had a lie down and fell asleep, dh is now on fetch and carry duty for the rest of the day. Meant to be going for a curry with my mum, it's only across the road so will see how I am later. Picking up tens machine tomorrow, apparently you can use them on back pain from 37 weeks so will check with mw and see.

Rach - stop walking!!:naughty: Take away curry?? And let me know if Tens machine is any good? hope you feeling better soon!! Sounds like our dh's are quite similar, never know quite what mood he will be in and what he is feeling about baby, but there when we need them and know they always will be :)

    Welcome Caz:j

gems- I will, it's really not far at all. Yes it will probably be a delivery curry now. I just really don't want to be housebound for the next 4-6 weeks! The good thing about being here is we only have stairs to get into the flat but once I'm here everything is on one level. Yes DH is just an up and down person, too clever by far, who says what he thinks at all times and doens't think that perhaps hiding it might be best sometimes! I will let you know re tens machine, hoping to use in labour but need to check about using it before too. Mum can hopefully drive me to the lady's house to collect it tomorrow.

Krystal We live in a flat, I bought it when single and the only person of concern was me. We put it up for sale before we knew i was pregnant so the aim has always been moving to our first family home. Like you mortgage is cheap v's rent so we hope to sell then buy again rather than have to rent somewhere.

rach i do understand how you feel about the idea of being housebound and it does suck!! and make me feel quite lonely during the week when hubby works long hours, but the pain really isnt worth it. Does your DH drive? ive been getting mine to take me to places where i can be dropped at the door and go staright in and sit like costa, mcdonalds, pubs, friends and my parents, he even left me on a park bench for half an hour yesterday whilst he went to the bank and post office, just so i can get out of the house and get some fresh air - he knows the alternative is to push me around in a wheelchair, which he is not to keen on, but will if it comes to it. :)

  • Hi Ladies - long time lurker here (as in I'm 36 weeks and have lurked all the way through lol)
Just wondered how many blankets/sheets every one has got?

I was sorting through and only have 2 - but I do have 6 sleeping bag things for at home so they are only for in the pram really. Is this enough?? Bit of a silly question but my other one is 9 and I have no idea what I did with her!

  • Am I the only one not having to get up for a wee in the night?! Well very, very rarely anyway only if I happen to wake up anyway. And I still sleep on my stomach too - think thats what helps me sleep as I haven't had to adjust positions too much. Think the foam topper has helped with that :D

Nikki sounds fine TBH. Neither of mines were sicky babies so it was just one in use and one for a chenge/spare.

*tmi alert* having more discharge, well i dont even know if its discharge, stood up and knickers were soaked again, went to the loo to wipe and nothing more has came out. it is clear and has no smell at all. does anyone know ifs its normal to get this level of wetness when pregnant?
  • I get loads of dampness down below Birdie. Like you it's whitey/clear and odourless.

I've read that increased cm is common in pregnancy.
