Oooh, it's like being royalty - about half of the posts in the last 24hours mention me :rotfl:
And yes, I am a mummy .... to DS! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Ha ha, sorryNot really any sign of babe still but there *might* be some sort of change. I have back ache which I haven't had and my bump knocks on my legs now when I go upstairs which is hasn't done before and suggests it's moved down. I don't know, I can't put my finger on it, I just feel different, calmer. I realised last night that these extra few days Munchkin obviously needs are so much more important in his/her life than they are in mine and a big part of being a Mummy is giving your kids the time the need. Suddenly feel loads more chilled out
Hubby took himself off to the supermarket this afternoon to buy curry ingredients and he's under strict instructions that we need to lie back and think of England tonight. I think I'll have my baby in the next few days:D:D
Updating soon...0 -
I'm using a panty liner daily as well (not the same one
), I get so wet if I don't!

Hello All
Hope your all well. I am still lurking, not quite crossed over to the parents thread yet, still cant quite believe I am a parent!!
Thank-you everyone for all your lovely messages of congrats and compliments on my little boy Theo’s name J
Fuzz: thanks for posting re: Vertbaudet and thanks Rach for the code; just ordered 2 really cute outfits for Theo for £5.60, its great being able to order outfits for a specific sex!
Congratulations to Man on the Moon about the twins! What wonderful news!
Courgette: I hope your ok and I do keep checking online to see if there are any updates of you. Make sure your MW regularly checks up on you as I know with me going 13 days overdue Theo was in distress and the merconium in my waters made him quite ill. I don’t mean to scare you but make sure you take it easy.0 -
Good luck Courgette, hope something gets moving for you tonight (as well as the Earth
:rotfl:) and what a lovely way of thinking about these extra few days. I'll have to remember that!
I've been another panty liner user. Never needed to before but it's just not pleasant otherwise. I also feel really sweaty (sorry way TMI) and chuck a bit of talc on my bits and in my bum crack and that makes it all a bit more comfy
Dream, I think we're going to be having a race. I'm pretty sure I lost a bit of plug last week but so far nothing else has happened - I had really bad BH the other night for an hour and a half they were lasting about 40 seconds but I knew they weren't the real thing as they didn't hurt enough. The last one I had though took my breath away a bit and I had to wake OH, but then we went back to sleep
Just need one more week for bubs to stay put so I can get this foofing house finished!Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
Merfe - glad you said that, as I have been told off by several people that I'll be squishing the baby by sleeping on my belly. I'm kind of just listening to my body, and thinking when it does become uncomfortable I'll know to stop!
Dream - Yes I'm with you on the discharge. I've had to start wearing pants again due to this as I end up with a snail trail otherwise, ha tmi I know  Funny as I mentioned this to at my midwife appointment and ended up at the hospital on Wednesday with suspected waters broken, but it all turned out fine! Not too pleasant it has to be said!!0 -
Plymouth I was getting up in the early days but not at the moment, probably will start to again towards the end but quite enjoying the odd decent nights sleep just now. I also still sleep on my tummy, the girls at work said i was going to squash the baby lol I did with both my others too so I know its fine.
How many weeks are you? I'm a stomach sleeper, basically I lie totally flat on my front, with my first I couldn't after about 20 weeks it was so uncomfortable I felt like I was sleeping on a tennis ball. How are you managing it? do you have a pillow arrangement?AKA: PC

Rest in Peace Fred the Maddest Muppet in Heaven0 -
I can't sleep any other way, I'm on my front belly goes slightly to one side or the other but I can't sleep totally on my side I've tried. Can't sleep on my back because of the low pressure thing. I'm 26 weeks I think. I have to have one leg bent up really high so I think that lifts my belly up a bit, I take up a bit more room than normal and OH gets annoyed but its not for much longer.
I've just been into london to pick up our pushchair, we got a petite star zia off ebay for £49. Apparently it was the grandparents one to use so has hardly been used, is sky blue and came with the cosy toes and raincover so I'm well pleased with that. It'll be alot easier for the school runs than the hefty pram I already own.0 -

Oh and i've fallen in love with a house/cottage thing, totally within budget but needing modernisation. Only saw the property listing not actually been to see it but I would love to live there. OH on the other had wants a little modern box and i would hate to live in one, no offence to those that do but it's just not me.
Cat - whats this about free vits?? I saw something in antenatal clinic about them but didn't realise it was everyone, I though just for those who get the vouchers/milktokens. House I looking at is just along from your work, Lintrathen Gardens.
I had originally thought they were only for those on vouchers/milk tokens too, but the lady I spoke to yesterday at the healthy start stand was saying that Tayside has just introduced the free vitamins for all pregnant women, I got a bottle of 56 from her, and my mum was back today and got another bottle;)
Lintrathen gardens is a nice quiet area, the houses look nice too, I think it's somewhere I would consider if I was going to live in Dundee. I live just outside Dundee, surrounded by fields which is nice and quiet, although last night there were a group of young girls walking along the road outside the house having a right carry on, hubby was going to go out and shout at them:rotfl:0
