Smartie im with you on the 6 wee visits a night, but mainly because i wake up with so much pain in my hips that the walk to the loo clicks it all back into place and i can get back into bed and lay on the oppersite hip, but i do need to wee too!! Often i see every hour of the night, but last night i didnt see 4am at all
You must be getting excited now?:T
Just a little!!;):D:D:D Nervous as well as course:eek::o
Thanks rach:) You go taking it easy now!!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
rach i do understand how you feel about the idea of being housebound and it does suck!! and make me feel quite lonely during the week when hubby works long hours, but the pain really isnt worth it. Does your DH drive? ive been getting mine to take me to places where i can be dropped at the door and go staright in and sit like costa, mcdonalds, pubs, friends and my parents, he even left me on a park bench for half an hour yesterday whilst he went to the bank and post office, just so i can get out of the house and get some fresh air - he knows the alternative is to push me around in a wheelchair, which he is not to keen on, but will if it comes to it.
and we park the car at his parents 5 mins away, but the bus stop is literally outside the flat and there are very regular buses and a bench, so I can get to starbucks etc from there. I think if I'd just walked back from lunch I'd be ok now it's just after going to church, even though I sat through it all, it was just too much.

Just wondered how many blankets/sheets every one has got?
I was sorting through and only have 2 - but I do have 6 sleeping bag things for at home so they are only for in the pram really. Is this enough?? Bit of a silly question but my other one is 9 and I have no idea what I did with her!

And I still sleep on my stomach too - think thats what helps me sleep as I haven't had to adjust positions too much. Think the foam topper has helped with that
dream - my knickers are basically soaked if I don't wear a panty liner, as if I've wet myself  and have noticed it between thighs the last few days but if you're concerned phone MW and they can check your waters aren't leaking!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Me too still tummy-sleeping and haven't had to get up in the night to pee at all yet. Maybe there's some connection, ie if you're comfortable then your bladder will sleep through too.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Well i have just done my birth plan:) nothing too fancy, just answered the question in the purple NHS book and cut out the page and put it in with my notes. I also have hospital bag sort of packed - I still need to put a few things in, but it has the essentials in IF baby decided to make an early appearance :j I also made hubby put hospital number in his phone and give me a few of his work colleagues numbers as he doesnt have a office phone - it will take him at least 2 hours to get home if i go into labour whilst he is at work - which really worries me!!
I have been an emotional wreck for the last few days - i think its doing the birth plan that has made me relaise that i actually have to get this baby out!! Im terrified something will go wrong, ive been trying not to think about it!!:eek:Baby No.1 due 27/9/10

Rach - sorry you've been struggling, same for the other SPD sufferers, it makes me grateful that I've only had the standard pregnancy issues.
I also have to wear panty liners. Lovely isn't it?! Actually this will probably be TMI - but for those early in pg I cannot recommend enough starting your pelvic floor exercises if you haven't already - I regret not doing so earlier:eek::eek:
I haven't slept on my tummy for months - I'd have thought it would squish baby too:o I think I would actually find it uncomfortable though, all I can do now in bed is sleep on either side with pillows to the front and back. I do need the loo in the night regularly but I also need to change sides or whichever hip I've been on starts to ache, and as soon as I move I need the loo, so I think for me its a combination.
Not sure exactly how many sheets and blankets we have as all I've bought are 4 fitted sheets (today from Vertbaudet as we didn't have any) - everything else has been donated from family, including some lovely knitted blankets from grandmas on both sides who are sadly no longer with us, so I really treasure having them.0 -

rach - its really nice having someone going through the same stuff at time. Hope your scan goes ok, midwife faxed my scan request on Friday about half 5 so im hoping to get a phone call tomorrow telling me when to go in. Midwife is pretty certain my bubs is head down, Finger crossed your bubs is head down too. xBaby No.1 due 27/9/10
