Budgetblonde - Did they say you couldnt use the birthpool becasue your blood pressure was high? my blood pressure was high when i got it done on thurs so have to go back and get it checked, i hope it doesnt hinder my chances of using the pooli dont necessarily want to birth in the pool, i was just thinking of it for pain relief?
- It's because I'm on medication for high BP. If yours is consistently high you might have a problem but just one high reading should be OK. I'm a bit miffed as that was my main pain relief option I didn;t really want drugs but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
MV i dont think theres anything you can take except paracetomal, and honey/lemon etc, i rem having really bad hayfever a few months ago and not being able to take anything was hell  *hugs* for you and hope you get rid of it soon!Metranil_Vavin wrote: »can i have strepsils?

I had a horrid cold at about 10 weeks and I was so miserable as I couldn't take much to feel better. I was told not to have them as they have small amounts of anesthetic in. Paracetemol are OK at minimum dose. be careful with over the counter stuff as some has paracetemol in as well, but anything honey and lemon ish (lke soothers) are OK.
Hope you feel better soon.
I've just used the code for M&co to buy some baby things. I have used the excuse that I now know I have a small baby to buy more newborn things.:T

To anyone who's bought any Vertbaudet maternity wear, do the sizes come up small or big? I'm about 12-14, but their sizes are either 10-12 or 14-16 :think:0

morning all
Hope everyone is ok and that things hvae moved for courgette. My mum is coming tonight and I'm really looking forward to it. DH was really grumpy and quite nasty yesterday, going through one of his 'this baby has ruined my life already' phases, which breaks my heart. I know he doesn't really mean it but still. Nothing I did was good enough either, nothing was suitable to eat etc. He cheered up a bit in the evening. I am going to church this am so can get out of the way for a bit.
Just going to order some bits from the book people, don't forget they are on quidco.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
So if I've ordered something in 14-16 and I've, 12-14 usually have I chosen correctly?
Had a good night's sleep last night, feel knackered now though! Went to bed around 10pm and just got upTwo night time wees though.
Courgette - I have my fingers crossed for you today!
EDIT - rach, sorry to hear that about your OH. Do you mean things like he can't go out as much as he used to?My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

morning
rach you are doing the best I think to just keep out his way till he has chilled a bit. My OH went through a stage of changing his mind, bit late once you're pregnant though, I think they don't think of the consequences till they are happening or shoved pretty much in their faces. It's hard to be sympathic with them too especially when your own life is changing so much and they behave so much like spoilt children. Hopefully once baby is here he'll calm down a bit x
Courgette hope something happened last night or today for you, you have the patients of a saint, I'd be pulling my hair out by now xx
Off to work in a bit, think it'll be reasonably busy to go quickly today.0 -
lilian, i think it's partly that. He is quite up and down anyway so I'm used to this from time to time. He's not the easiest person in the world a lot of the time! He doesn't really have any mates to go out with which would help i'm sure. anwyay, i love him to bits and i know he does me, i just find it upsetting when he is like this, esp at the moment!
Ooops, just seen the time, better get a quick bath (shower still broken) as I need to leave in 25 mins for the bus.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
