let's hope so courgette, one morning we'll all get up to find your babe is here.

I am annoying myself too and DH is annoying me. I know he is bored of being in every weekend and he's not saying so but I can tell that it's partly that. He's still not taken the curtains down in the baby's room but I bet if I start doing it he'll tell me off. I'll just get my mum to help I think. He has hoovered the spare room though I guess.

Think we need some extra bits for dinner, one of us will have to head to the shop I guess!

Could DH perhaps join a walking group to his own? I suppose it's hard to get to open spaces when you're in London cos I would have suggested a drive and a picnic. We used to do a lot of walking before the SPD (not as much as you but we were both very active) and it is a real pain. I bought a baby sling last week, I am beyond excited about being able to go for little wanders around with Munchkin :D
    Updating soon...

oooh, i love the book people Lilian. When I click through though it doesn't let me go to the more info page about those books

Yeah I don't know what's wrong with it. It's got (and all these are subtitled "And Other Stories":

The Emperor's New Clothes (and other stories)
    Snow White (and...)
    Cinderella
    Hansel and Gretel
    Beauty and the Beast
    Little Red Riding Hood
    The Three Little Pigs
    Jack and the Beanstalk
    The Princess and the Pea
    The Little Mermaid

It also comes with a bag to store them in.

    They're paperbacks, 270 x 210 mm each.

I thought I was feeling movements earlier this week but haven't really felt anything since :( Feel silly that I'm a bit worried as I don't really know what to look out for! It's my scan in 10 days anyway so I guess I can wait until then to make sure everything is ok?

Courgette - I feel so sorry for you, you poor thing. xx

I'm another one that can't wait until X-Factor - got some Chicago Town pizzas and corn on the cob to have, and my weekly mini bottle of wine to share with OH (only 90ml for me!) :)

unfortunately, groups are really not his thing! He'll be fine, he is going to go on a walk one friday on his own (he has every other fri off), he did a walk alone a while ago when i was on a hen do. I think he also just doesn't want to go off and leave me home. I'm the same re slings, so far I've got 2x babybjorns, a close carrier and a friend is sending me a ring sling and another a wrap...hoping that I can get on with at least one of them! We did do a picnic last week with his parents but to be honest even walking from the car to the park was too much for me!

dream - that doesn't sound pleasant, hope it's ok

lillian - I might get those books. I have a big set of hardback childrens books at my dad's which were mine when I was little but they are more things like Treasure Island...they will be for bubs when older. DH and I both grew up surrounded by books (and classical music) and we both read loads so hoping same for our baby. Re movements I wasn't sure about them until well after 20 week scan but the scans showed a very active baby!

I'm hoping sir monster is ok, i've texted her a couple of days ago and not heard back. Hope she is home and has little one home and is just too busy to reply :)

They do look lovely. I'm keeping all my Harry Potter books for the same reason and that's why I've bought the Roald Dahl set which also looks really nice. If you spend over £20 you also get a free language book so I chose First 1000 Words in Spanish :)

    SNAP!

Courgette - really hope things just creep up on you this weekend and you'll be having mummy cuddles really soon.

I've had a lovey day today. First venture out on the scooter, my friend came with me and was able to lift the scooter out of her car without any problems. We went round the baby show and have booked a 4d scan for a couple of weeks time managed to get it for GBP125 instead of GBP195, so feeling very pleased with that.

I've also been measured for some maternity/nursing bras. Realise I've been wearing the wrong size bras. :o Have been wearing 38DD and just bought a Hot Milk one in a 36FF:eek:. It is gorgeous, and wanted a second one but couldn't justify another GBP30+. Will wait until next month. We then went to Smyths, Mamas & Papas and Costco. There's no way I'd have been able to get round one of those on crutches last week so the scooter really helped and I've just about got over the shame factor. :o

Appropriate vibes to those who need whatever. :D

Just sneaking in from the parenting thread to wish a speedy start of things to Courgette. I can't imagine how uncomfortable you are :(

Is there a theatre near you? Book their most expensive tickets for Monday night - that'll get baby moving ;)
