I am sooooooo sorry to drag the thread kicking and screaming back to the Verbaudet code, but am I right in thinking I still have to pay P&P?
It should also give free P&P but only seems to if one of the things in your basket is from the autumn-winter collection. HTH! I got confirmation screen for the order in DH's name this morning but no conf email yet:cool:

They do look lovely. I'm keeping all my Harry Potter books for the same reason and that's why I've bought the Roald Dahl set which also looks really nice. If you spend over £20 you also get a free language book so I chose First 1000 Words in Spanish :)
Ooooh, DH is learning Latin and Spanish at the mo so can get him something. Thanks.
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j
  • Come on baby Courgette!!!! :j

    I feel rotten today :( Completely colded-up, feel like c r a p.

So....what is the MV cure for all ill's..? A CURRY!!!!!! :D:D:D

I am making a gorgeous Indonesian chicken curry. OH has just gone out to buy some nan bread. He's been really ace today. He's done ALL the housework and let me lounge about.

We did have friends coming for dinner tonight, but I cancelled. I'm in no fit state to entertain, so we shall eat my yummy curry and watch X-Factor instead...bliss! :A
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,

  • Just popping my head out to say Hi.

Hope your all doing ok, I havn't been on for so long it would take days to catch up, sorry. Gratz to the new arrivals though.

Just need to vent something as I have no female friends and my DH is my bestmate and can't really talk to him as he's the problem. I am pregnant and hormonal and yes he keeps pointing out Im pregnant and Im beeing hormonal and "throwing my toys out of the pram" quite often because if something does not go the way I want it to I can't cope with trying to work out what needs to be done to correct it. I shall give you an example, I go into the shop to buy a cake for 3.65 and need to put gas on my gas card, you can only do that by paying cash so I need to get cash back on my card to do this, but I also need to spend 5.00 to use my card, cue "oh, forget about it" and waltz out of shop almost in tears to my DH asking what was wrong then him having a go for me acting like a child. aghhhhhhh this happens on a daily bases and is wearing pretty thin with both of us. I cant help that I act like that (I've tried) but couldnt he be a bit more sympathetic and not tell me ive just been an idiot and make me feel even worse? Am I wrong here??

Thanks, I feel slightly better already.

Hi there - I'm not sure if I can offer any advice, but if it's any consolation, I'm very similar. In the past it's always been me who sorts out everything, because I'm the more organised (and picky) one. While I've been pregnant (and more so in the past couple of months) my brain has gone to mush, I'm forgetting things and like you said, if things don't go the way I expect I can't cope with finding a way to make things better. Even though it is the hormones, it doesn't make things easier and my OH is also getting a bit stressed at having his head bitten off all the time.

I'm not sure what the answer is (for either of us), might help to get him to do more, so there are less situations where we have to deal with unexpected stuff (which should take the pressure off us etc). I just can't wait to not be pregnant any more so I can get brain back :-)

I'm sure it differs depending on where you live, but I had a vague letter today asking me to get in touch with a health visitor.

I thought they only came after the birth? I'm only 21 weeks, maybe they've got their info wrong.
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

That'll get your mucus moving MV lol!!

OTE.. The hormone thing gets me all the time... I'm not entirely sure it gets easier after the baby arrives either lol...

Courgette, I didn't have any sign I would go into labour before I did either time so fingers crossed tonight's the night... :) (Have you tried sex? lol)

Smartie, our hospital has good food too... Just never enough of it I find!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm really chuffed with my freebies and cheap things today! I was at the flower and food festival today and saw a stall about healthy start for families, I don't qualify for the vouchers but my area are now doing free vitamins for all pregnant women, so got some of them, also a free muslin as I'm planning to breast-feed. And some notepads, pen etc in a nice jute bag :D Then I saw a stall with the real nappy campaign so picked up a trial pack which I was intending on buying anyway, it's £15 but includes 2 shaped nappies and a wrap and 3 all-in-ones, 100 liners a nappy nippa and a wet bag :D They also offer an alternative of £25 voucher towards your nappies but as I don't know what kind I would like I thought the package was a good deal :D

Appropriate vibes to all in need!

I've not found the hospital food too bad either just really tiny portion sizes, my kids eat more and I know I could do with eating less but the kids are not overweight so at least their size portions would be nice.

OH work forgot to put him down for this sat so he had it off instead, we went swimming this morning, watched a dvd with the kids then took them down the sea front for chips this afternoon and a long walk. He is just putting them to bed now but a really good day, we even got all the housework sorted before we went swimming.
