I don't iron anything usually, was just doing the covers for the moses basket last weekend. I have just hung up a load of washing on the airer (mainly sitting) and cleaned the loo.

She did me a sample of the bag, I really liked it, especially the wide strap, so looking forward to having my bespoke one :) and bonus is it's big enough for real nappies and can be worn over a sling etc. I've got the boots one as a backup too. I think the material can take a couple of weeks to come from the states but once it's here she'll have it made in an evening knowing her!

The MW I saw and also the receptionist said come into the antenatal clinic at the hospital straight after scan and one of the MWs will see me straight away - is there a chance you could do the same.

Thanks Rach - thats good to know, i will see if i can do that:)

Well midwife has just been for a second sweep, said I was 2-3cms dilated and everything is ready to go. We'll have to see.

courgette - when is your next appointment? I know you've probably said but I can't remember.

I am rather bored, sure I'll be fine once DH is at work but he's stomping around grumpily at the moment and has just been mean to me :(

bunny - hope this is it!

Wednesday. I don't honestly know what I'll do if babe hasn't put in an appearance by then. I'm so against the idea of strangers putting things inside me to force a not quite ready baby out of me but I can't quite believe I've gone this far over.

I'm annoying myself today cos I really am moping around when there are plenty of useful things I could easily manage. I have nearly finished a pair of baby socks today (will finish the rest off later) so all's not lost and our bedroom curtians and the throw from the sofa are both on the line nearly dry so I suppose I have done some stuff.

I'm really hoping I'm just not gonna show any signs I'm about to go like I didn't with DS and that I'll just start having contractions and that wll be that :)

Good luck bunny and huge labour vibes to Courgette and anyone else who needs them.

Saw my MW yesterday and after the worry from the last appointment that I was measuring about 2-3 weeks ahead, I am now measuring spot on for my dates. However the new concern is that she said there was a bit of sugar in my wee and we are to keep an eye on that now. Might just have been the donut and Snickers bar I had when I was in the office the day before though :o

Today we have finally started to decorate the nursery. The people we bought the house off had their toddler in that room and it was painted bright green (and I mean bright!). We didn't bother repainting when it was just our study, but I want it pale yellow for the baby. My Dad got us some special paint that's designed to obliterate bright or dark colours - 2 coats later and you can still see the green in places! But it is at least quite faint now so we'll start putting the yellow on tomorrow. I think if we'd gone straight for the yellow over the green, it'd have needed about 10 coats.

My birth ball arrived today, so I'm off to have a bounce on that now. Hopefully the cats will get used to it soon, they are currently giving it a wide berth and run a mile if they see it move :rotfl:

Also got some RLT, so better see if it's drinkable. I guess this means operation eviction is starting to get underway... :p
